  1. I’ll jump in and give my 2 cents for this. 1. QB - Clifford, although he’s struggled at times and people aren’t always high on him our backup has zero experience. 2. Will LB - Brandon Smith - our LB depth isn’t great but he’s the one I’d least want to see go out. He’s a game changer 3. WR - Jahan Dotson - he’s a potential AA and is a difference maker on offense. You guys are gonna need to know where he’s at at all times. Really looking forward to this game Here’s a preview of what Dotson is capable of. https://youtu.be/9GGRot8SmoM
  2. Brooks is the slowest of the LB’s, Jacob’s and Smith are both crazy athletes and Smith has started to have a knack for always being around the ball for tackles. Luketa is technically the backup MLB but he’s now getting way more snaps as a DE and has an explosive quick pass rush. He had a pick 6 last week from the DE spot where he made a great play
  3. He hasn’t played a snap yet this season. Not sure why as Franklin had been quiet on it. All we know is he’s unavailable but he was on the sideline in street clothes against Ball St
  4. We’ll play both but with our corners we play a good bit of man. Pry will send a zone blitz quite a bit though. That has hurt us at times in the past cuz our coverage gets screwed up. Our 2 corners are both long and physical. With 5 total guys in the rotation getting major snaps. We’re not afraid to play single coverage.
  5. Our run game did not look stellar against Wisconsin at all, but was pretty foot in our 2nd game. For you to get pressure when we pass though is gonna be more difficult. Our Pass protection has been pretty good. The interior of our o-line is our weakness on the line. As far as your passing attack I truly hope you try to throw often. Our secondary has been lights out and has not given up much through the air at all. I’m really not too scared about our guys being in single coverage as well as our cover LB who is ridiculously athletic and did a great job against Wisconsin’s NFL caliber TE. I honestly think a lot of it will come down to the rushing attack of both teams.
  6. Except in a previous comment you stated you’re from PA
  7. Let me follow your train of thought and logic…….I’m a Penn State fan, so I must be from PA therefore I’m Amish? So by that logic that makes you Amish as well? You’re making us look bad man. Just relax a little, I’m not trying to give our fan base a bad reputation and all you’ve done is come in and try to stir the pot. And now you’re doing the same thing with someone who is a fellow fan.
  8. Not really sure what’s uneducated, but you do you my guy. Enjoy your pit of misery
  9. Opening kickoff will be out of the endzone if it’s our kicker. He hasn’t had a ball fielded all season
  10. Please don’t quote me with this guy, I think our defense is top 5 Offense leaves some to be desired but it’s only been 2 games with our new OC. Our o-line is great on the outside. Inside not as much. On the defensive side our DT Mustipher is a monster and Ebikate is explosive the other 2 aren’t on that level.
  11. Ball state scored the TD on our 3rd and 4th string, also look at the yards/attempt not even per completion. And the yards per carry, none of which are good by any stretch of the imagination. As far as the Wisconsin game and our offense, they have been a top 5 defense the last 15 years and it was our first game with a new OC and we still won. This post can be as hilarious as you want but we’ve beaten 2 better teams then you guys have and we’ll see come Saturday. Regardless I look forward to a good game and I think you’ll be surprised.
  12. Well as far as Ball State goes they play Akron this year as they’re in the same conference. My reasoning for saying they’re better is because they won the MAC last year and returned 21 starters from that team. Then again games aren’t won on paper. And the beauty of the speed debate is we’ll get to see Saturday night. No matter the debate I’m just looking forward to a great game between 2 solid programs played in a top CFB environment
  13. You shouldn’t have much issue with this, I’m not saying it won’t happen, but usually not an issue outside the students.
  14. Our QB can run the ball. Deceptively fast, but our OC has seemed to make it a point to not have him use his legs as much. He had a 60+ yard run last week. As far as the RB’s go we too use rotation and all 4 of our guys who have gotten touches are high caliber. Cain(21) is our starter and is gonna grind yards. Somehow never loses yards and always falls forward. He’ll get majority of 4th quarter snaps in close games. Doesn’t go down to arm tackles. Our receiver to watch is Jahan Dotson. He’s a threat in space and hard to tackle. If he’s in single coverage he’s gonna get open, it’s a matter of can Cliff hit him in stride on time. Really excited for the game and best of luck!
