  1. First of all, it depends on the opponent.  We have the luxury of having several guys who are capable starters!   But in general, getting our best 5 on the court….

Kessler, Smith, Green, KD, and I think right now I would take Cambridge over Flan.   I know, I know…..   But Flan hasn’t really discovered his role on this team yet.  Cambridge fit in very well when he was getting the most minutes.  And he is certainly capable!    Other pieces to plug in depending on the match up would be Zep, if a main goal is shutting down the other team’s PG.  Jaylin, if we need to go bigger.

  2. First league win, and a huge one!!!!!   Maybe this will get us over the hump.   We’ve had several close ones and just couldn’t finish it.   It’s encouraging to see some definite progress!!!   I think this program is only going to get better!

Because after 2022 we will have harsin and malzahn on auburn's unemployed payroll.  With all that money going out we wouldn't have enough for his private jet ride to Auburn much less his salary.

Aren’t we also still paying Chizik, some of Malzahn’s ACs, and Wayne Hall among others?

FTR, I think the OP was joking.  “We could do worse”.  C’mon, that has to be a joke.   And what about this bammer?   Yeah, surely he was joking, or trolling.   Can’t be serious, right?

I'll be at Arkansas and Tennessee.  Those 2 road games worry me, Especially Arkansas.

@arky, @UF, @UT, and @MSU are all going to be tough!!!   We probably lose 2 of those.   We proved last night that we can play as poorly as anyone!   But hopefully we don’t do that again.   As others stated, this was a perfect storm.

I would like to thank the eggheads at the  University of Tennessee for firing Coach Pearl because we would have never had a chance at the hire without the egregious backyard barbecue infraction. Tennessee fans knew it was a stupid mistake to let him go.

Yeah, compare Bruce’s BBQ to Will Wade, the AAU scandals, etc.   What he did was very, very mild.   Anyway, UT’s loss has been our historic gain!!!!   War Bruce!!!

  6. Guys need to settle down and play our game.   I was afraid they might come in to this one a little too amped up.    We’ve got matchups we can take advantage of, and I like our half court D against them.   We just need to settle down and play our game.   Maybe our depth will also become a factor in the second half!

  7. Great work @JwgreDeux!!!

I'm worried about Kessler's match up against their center.  I see no way that Kessler wins the match up, but he can at least hold his own and create a stalemate, while still scoring and playing D.  I'd take that outcome now if I could.

Heck yeah!!!  If Kessler stalemates with their 5 that would be huge!

I agree that the home court advantage is going to be big!   The Jungle is unlike anything else!!!

but I think the guy who has a chance to steal the show is Flannigan. His mix of power and shooting is under appreciated, probably by me as well. With the defensive attention others will get, I would like to see Flannigan be extra aggressive in this one.

If Flan gets back into his pre-injury form, and Jabari gets more aggressive offensively, this team will be nearly unstoppable!
