His daughters would definitely know about our LB room.

That's exactly what I was thinking. How would she even know that kind of information?

Edited: I think your point initially whizzed over my head, haha.  But still...did they sit around the dinner table and discuss these kind of random particulars?

Hugh has continued to adapt his offense a lot!(another major difference)

This is key and where I think we are now light years better off. It's one thing to have been 'schooled the same'. It's an entirely different beast when one refuses to grow, adapt or change in any way.

Also, CHF’s philosophy and strategy for recruiting OL is much, much different than Gus.   That won’t be a consistent issue moving forward.

This. I didn't follow recruiting much under Gus, so I've really only been educated by what I glean from here. But at the very least, it seems CHF has an overall strategy for who he wants to plug in, which I don't get the impression CGM ever had.

The staff felt it was absolutely a must to go at least 1 for 2 on Saturday with Solomon & Bolden and they did

Oh, I agree and am super excited. I don't know a lot about the ins and outs of recruiting, and haven't really followed it at all until very recently, so I realize I don't grasp all the nuances. I know it's always a risk that a recruit will change their commitment prior to signing, and we in fact will probably continue to pursue players that have committed elsewhere, but that last second, pressured switch just makes me uneasy.

  5. The only consolation I feel when school starts back is I know football is right around the corner. I love summer with my kids...the slower pace, having them around more. Impending Auburn football is the only thing that soothes my sadness.

I hope you’re not equating being drunk to being high…

I think the point was, alcohol is accessible and legal, and players don't tend to show up to practices/games drunk.

And since you asked, data suggests alcohol causes much more harm than pot.
