I've been doing a lot of reading about Grant Heard, and it seems like a great hire.

I'm surprised we have not yet heard anything official about an OC or DC.

I remember hearing Paul and Tammy's back-and-forth on my way home from work every day.  The best call was after the CAMback win in the Iron Bowl.  A classic call on the following Monday saw Tammy end her call with a loud and raucous "WARRRRRRRRRRRRRR EAGLEEEEEEE!!!!!".  She left Paul shaken.

Very cool.

They also both played and beat Texas on the road. TCU won by 7 and bama won by 1.

They both have two Top 25 wins as of the rankings today. With one more game played and one less loss, TCU should get that spot but the committee sure loves bama.   

Yeah, I got the TCU loss wrong.  Wasn't a blowout.

You're probably right, as I didn't consider their lack of win over a quality opponent.

As much as I hate to admit it, Alabama deserves some consideration here.

Alabama lost two games because of two plays.  They were two plays away from an undefeated season, with their best player (QB Bryce Young) out or hobbled for both games.  Yet they never got blown out.

On the other hand, Ohio State, USC, and TCU all got blown out.

Still, I don't think there's any way the committee will put Bama in the playoff.

TV Guide Magazine once rated it as the funniest sitcom moment ever.  I watched it live way back when, and I agree.

Les Nesman was a genius comedian.

Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite bands of all time.  And Christine McVie was such an important member.  Great keyboardist, singer, and song writer.

This band was huge when I was a teenager and student at AU.

Didn't get to watch the game.  I heard Flan looked good.  Is he approaching the Flan of two years ago?

I watched it and was turned off by Rece Davis and his dumb question to start things off.  Coach Freeze handled the interview very well.  He was prepared.

Thanks.  And that was his best movie ever as a director, and pretty darn close as an actor too.  He got better with age.

I was not at that Iron Bowl, but it was the best game I've ever watched Auburn play.
