  1. Also I just read that he was shot in the head. Hopefully it was glancing and doesn’t cause brain damage. But that’s terrible news. Terrible terrible news
  2. Let’s go! I’m in fort Walton right now I’ll show up and congratulate him 😂💁🏻‍♂️. This 2025 class is going to be amazing years 2026-2027 and on. Auburn is about to be back on top!
  3. Yeah I know! I’ve never heard of another shooting in Stockton AL and I’ve lived 25 minutes from It for the last 26 years
  4. Yall can facepalm all you want but when gas ovens were banned suicide rates dropped dramatically. suicide and shooting people is an impulsive reaction and it’s a fact that guns provide the option to quickly cause harm. I am a gun owner but I 100% believe guns do much more harm than good. People shooting themselves, kids accidentally being shot, shootings, etc etc it’s just tragedy after tragedy
  5. I think Hudson is a fine addition. He put up 8 points and 11 rebounds on auburn(!) yes not the best recruit we could have gotten but he seems athletic enough and will be an okay relief for Chaney Johnson who I think is going to be a stud. Obviously things aren’t perfect as nothing ever is, but the sky isn’t falling we have 4 serviceable 4&5’s. What our issue is and was last year is our guard play we desperately need a facilitator who can open up plays for our squad. I think we improve from last year. It just depends on our guard play that will limit our ceiling imo (hence why we lost in MM you need quality guards To make runs in MM). This may be a hot take but I think Chaney Johnson has more potential than Williams imo I’m very high on him seeing how quickly he improved last year
  6. Crazy. There was a shooting in Stockton Alabama this week as well. Makes me hate guns more and more.
  7. Auburn has two scholarships remaining. Get a guard!!
  8. Are you sure I thought with sobera leaving that Atleast makes 2
  9. It’s not that bad. Stop acting like the sky is falling. I still stand by point guard being much more dire than filling the 4 spot.
  10. There’s still a chance don’t we have 2 or 3 scholarships open now?
  11. Chaney is going to be a beast. What I would have liked would maybe another big, have broome at 4 with Chaney if we struck out on forwards and then cardwell start 5 with another 5 that’s serviceable
  12. I’ve lost faith in Bruce’s intellect over the years. I kind of get the vibe he’s stubborn and won’t adjust. But maybe I’m mistaken. Thoughts?
  13. Also if the law, NCAA allows a player to play and it’s two years after an incident and none of us were there for what happened or in the court room where he was not issued a felony and he has good grades and a great attitude just because he wants a chance to do better I feel like he deserves forgiveness who are we to judge and be snobs about if everything is water under the bridge and he has a changed heart and mind. When you are 17 your prefrontal cortex is underdeveloped, not making excuses but Atleast look into him
  14. I wouldn’t be so quick to sell Chaney Johnson out. I think at the least he’s got a chance for a split role 50/50 with someone. Maybe not quite a starter yet but who knows with another offseason playing SEC speed I would be surprised if he didn’t improve. Would love Mitchell but who knows what will happen. More concerned about point guard right now to be honest
  15. I mean it’s definitely a bad situation, however it was two years ago and they’re just college kids if the staff has evaluated him and really done their digging and feel like he’s changed then I’m all for him coming aboard because people deserve second chances. I don’t think pearl would allow any funny business in the locker room in terms of dynamic. That’s just mY unpopular opinion
  16. Please forward info on the morehead state guard?
  17. Auburn basketball is currently trying to fulfill its roster needs for the 2024-25 season, searching for players out of the transfer portal and still on the recruiting trail. The Tigers have had some success in their efforts so far, and they are looking to continue that with players coming on visits. One of those players is former High Point guard transfer Duke Miles, who is set to visit the Plains on April 30. The fifth-year senior is seeking out his third school in his college career after playing for Troy for three years and High Point for one. His 6-3, 182-pound frame has made him a key player across both squads. Coming out of Montgomery, Alabama, Miles has been in and out of the starting lineup throughout his college career. In his most recent season with the Panthers, he started in 27 out of the 33 games he appeared in and averaged 30.5 minutes per game. His shooting abilities were highly noticed in the Big South Conference last year. He finished second in the league in scoring average, posting 17.5 points per contest. His 52.8% success rate from the field was ranked at the top of the conference, as well, while also shooting 36.1% from beyond the arc. Miles is a reliable shooter from the free-throw line, something Auburn is always looking for. He shot 80.1% from the charity stripe in the 2023-24 campaign. He made a season-high 10 free throws on Jan. 10 against UNC Asheville. Miles was recognized for his work last year. He was named to the Big South All-Tournament Team while also receiving Big South First Team All-Conference honors as well. He was even named the 2023-24 Big South Newcomer of the Year.
  18. Pearl has earned that he pick his successor and if he thinks Steven is fit do be it
  19. Of course KD is going. we have two point guards and two shooting guards already. We and KD will both benefit from him leaving we are a better team than when he initially joined. He will do better elsewhere and we will do better here. Auburn is on the precipice I think. Pearl is about to make us competitive nationally. He just needs to hit on a couple more pieces
  20. Why don’t you become an ole miss fan
  21. Meanwhile lior berman is eating flanigans lunch in the first half 😂😂😂
  22. I’m saying he’s a benefit to have such a strong player at the 4 that him leaving will not help our chances making a title run next year vs this year
