norcuron 35
What if USC beats Org? How does that work out? Is it a bye week reguardless to the BCS? Or if Org. wins how do the computers work that out? USC is not a BCS school this year so do they count as "what" to the compulation? They are in a BCS league but cannot play in the BCS and will not be ranked to my understanding. So does Org get a free bye week playing USC in the computers or what? If that is the case then AU plays Org> if we both win out. But what if Org loses to USC do we finally get to kill Boise? And shut their mouth for at least next year? All other aspects of the program are counted in the system; game results, stats, etc.
BeatBama 0
It's just like any other game. The BCS is nothing but a formula from Harris Poll, Coaches Poll, and Computers. It doesn't matter what you or your opponent is "ranked." Nor if they are "eligible." This game helps Oregon because it helps their computer ranking. The pollsters will also view it as a good win for Oregon. If Oregon were to lose, Oregon gets credited for a loss just as much as if they were playing Washington or La Tech. Helps Oregon since this will be only the second team with a winning record they have played and it is a BCS conference team. Even losing helps their SOS but all that does
