jsb29 0 Posted November 21, 2011 Share Posted November 21, 2011 I shot this doe this evening. I noticed she was walking with a limp. When I got to her, her right shoulder, neck, and right leg were extremely swolen and hard as a rock. I am wondering if anyone knows if it was more than likely a tumor of some sort, or the result of a previous injury. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aubcali 436 Posted November 21, 2011 Share Posted November 21, 2011 Was the deer acting strange -- limping, walking in circles, excess drooling, etc...? Could be many things. I felt bad about leaving her, but I didn't feel comfortable having her processed. I've never been one to waste meat, but I'm not sure that it was fit to eat anyhow.
