I'd like to find a way to get closer to home (Daphne, AL) if possible, but I'm open to other opportunities anywhere. AEAugirl 9,632 Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Hi bearings!! I live in HSV, and there always seems to be a good amount of engineering jobs in our area. We have all the major government contractors, including Boeing, Lockheed, and Northrup Grumman. Our area has weathered the economic downturn pretty well as far as unemployment is concerned. We are about 5 hours from Daphne, but definitely closer than you are in Ft Myers and HSV is a GREAT place to live!
