AUinWV 0
I understand trying to avoid them. However, isn't a certain percentage inevitable? People who choose advantages (playing football for millions for instance) also choose negatives. Doctors help plenty and make plenty, but pay for it in family time. McDonalds workers sacrifice money and intellectual obligations, but have family time. Teachers have family time, and obligations that instill pride, but pay for it in pay cuts. Considering what they make, how big they are in society, are players not well compensated for inevitable danger in an obviously rough sport? Isn't that the name of $12m/yr contracts? Maybe we should ask our former Marines? Im sorry... I just think pussifying football doesn't help us. Its a rough sport. Always been. These players shouldn't come in looking for 90 years of life. If playing real football that is. We all sacrifice a part of ourselves for what we want to be.
