Orange team strings a couple of hard hit singles together after J. J. Schaffer reached on a grounder to go up 2-0 with 1 out. Keegan Thompson and Robert Daniel with singles.

Headed to the top of the 5th after runner thrown out at 2nd trying to steal. Coach watching pitch counts and sends it to the top of the 2nd. Team looks agressive at the plate and fundamentals look pretty good.

Michael O'Niel looks really good for team Orange. Sends first 5 batters to the dugout via groundouts.

Coach has cut number of outs down to two per inning. Bottom of the 2nd 2-0 Orange.

Rocky McCord on the mound for the grey team. He's bringing it.

Orange makes first error at third with a botched grounder that may have been beaten out anyway. Deep and down the line.

So far things look pretty fluid. Had a poor throw to first by the Grey team on a bunt by the backup catcher. Starting pitching looks pretty good so far. A lot of hard throwers. Tela looks in great shape and is hitting the ball hard.

One thing Golloway has done....brought in some sizable players. Hunter Kelly looking good at the plate and on the bases.

I'd say we have around 160 on hand. Nice crowd for a scrimmage.

O'Niel still dealing it. Going to cut this loose but my observations:

Team looks prepared and spirited.

Nice infield work so far.

Aggressive at the plate and on the bases.

Pop in the bats but also some nice placement.

Time to put it all together come Friday afternoon. War Eagle!

Orange team took care of business after scoring another 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth. Solid offense coupled with some spotty pitching in that inning.

The Tigers will host an Open House Tuesday 5:30-7 at Plainsman Park to show off the new improvements to the locker rooms and bull pen. Auburn pitchers in the bullpen can now watch the game from the pen with the addition of windows and doors at the bottom of the left field wall.
