I think we would have been 9-3, 10-2 at best. We would have defeated Tech and Ole Miss. I think we would have played much better against Georgia for a possible 10th victory.

I agree we should have beaten Ole Miss and Georgia Tech.

I feel we would have beaten Georgia. One of their touchdowns was a 99 yard interception returned for a touchdown.

We would have played USC better. Well, we would have at least scored.

USC's first drive started a taround the Auburn 20 and they scored a touchdown a couple of plays later.

LSU would have still beaten us by a couple of scores

Tough call. We wouldn't have been near as predictable on offense so the SC & Ga Tech games would have been competitive at the very least. I'm not so sure we could have beaten LSU or UGA, either way. 9-3 or 10-2. But since this is a meaningless poll, I voted 12-0. National Champions, baby!

our d played well against USC given the circumstances they were in-I didn't see USC do anything crazy on d. LSU jumped out early but we would have made a game of it but probably lost. We had good field position all night against Georgia but couldn't do anything-plus we only gave Carnell 3 carries in the first half.

I really believe we had better atheletes than USC and Georgia-push against LSU

I say 11-1 with a OC that attacks weaknesses rather than trying something and hoping it works

USC had figured out our offense the previous year and knew everything we were gonna run. With borges' shifts and all in ther I think we coulda took em. Our d played great ball. If we had won the usc game, who knows.
