DKW 86 7,475
I actually read some of that. It is sad when you have to talk about stuff that happened prior to 1982 to have a discussion. Must be a lot of old men on the Bama Boards.

Erik81 0
Time and space do not allow me to relate my feeling and thoughts about the best coach ever in college football. Perhaps I can be anecdotal over time.

bammanmr 0
Thread about price is the greatest!! Does any one else find this kind of ironic? Maybe even wrong? Given, the guy must be a pretty decent coach. But he was fired from Alabama for certainly less than honorable conduct, and now he is a finalist for the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Award. This award recognizes the nation’s top collegiate football coach who best exemplifies the same characteristics that made Paul “Bear†Bryant arguably the best motivator in the history of organized athletics. There's just something that doesn't sound right about comparing characteristics of Mike Price and Paul Bear Bryant. If conduct exemplifing 'tha bahr' is part of the award criteria, then price should win unanimously! They can remember 'ver batum' what he said in his pregame speech against ole miss in 1964, but somehow forget his well-publicized legacy of boozing and womanizing. Too funny.
