SmarterServices LLC, is a leader in the higher education assessment software industry. The position for an Account Manager will be at the company headquarters located in Prattville, AL. This office includes leadership, sales, and account management, while the development team is in our Grand Rapids, MI, office. We service over 500 colleges and universities across the country. Our end user is students but we sell direct to school administrators.

Account Manager (AM)/Implementation Specialist will be responsible for nurturing relationships using a consultative approach with clients, offering needs assessment, educating them about new product enhancements, and expanding usage. Excellent communication skills are required, both written and verbal since we rely heavily on phone, virtual conference, and email. AM will ensure client satisfaction, be a creative problem solver, and provide account direction to strengthen implementation plan. A general understanding of higher education including challenges, trends, and verbiage is preferred but not required. Knowledge of student success programs and non-cognitive skills will give candidate an advantage. Success will be measured by renewal rates, amount of revenue generated and levels of product usage. SmarterServices offers a competitive base salary plus commission.
