AUDub 11,164
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jan/30/quebec-city-mosque-shooting-alexandre-bissonnette-murder-charge Quote A 27-year-old university student has been charged with six counts of first-degree murder over a shooting at a Québec City mosque during evening prayers, in an act described by the Canadian prime minister as an act of terror. Alexandre Bissonnette, a student in the social sciences faculty at Laval University, is also facing five charges of attempted murder. A local group dedicated to welcoming refugees, Bienvenu aux réfugiés, said Bissonnette’s name was familiar to them and that he had expressed support for Marine Le Pen, the leader of France’s far-right Front National. Shameful. Praying for the 5 remaining in critical condition and the 6 lives lost. All 6 of those killed were fathers.
AUFAN78 3,926
I don't think Canada has a death penalty, so let's hope this guy rots in prison or worse. Prayers to the families involved.

TexasTiger 12,979
"Others who knew Bissonnette described him a timid introvert who was a staunch supporter of US president Donald Trump. “He loved Trump a lot and seemed to be permanently set against the left, Éric Debroise told the Journal de Québec. He said had reached out to police in the wake of the shooting to inform them that Bissonnette is “far right and an ultra nationalist white supremacist”." This is where dehumanizing the "other side" may lead. Our leaders, political and religious, need to step up and be better.
