Article: Get Used To it. Biden isn't Going Anywhere

Recommended Posts

This is a pretty decent article explaining why there is absolutely no shot that Biden gets replaced as the Democratic nominee.

the highlights for those who don't have time or don't like to read:

1. Biden's not going anywhere unless he has a heath emergency or changes his mind about running, and every single indication is that Biden is 100% on board with running again. He's always dreamed about being President and making his mark on the world and Biden's not going to give that up when he believes he still can do it.

2. It's too late: The time for Democrats to  challenge Bide. Primary season has started. it's too late to get on ballots. the time to challenge Biden was months ago...not now.

3. Trump is a unifying force for Democrats, and Dems will not want to create internal chaos within themselves when having Trump on the other side leads to unified resistance against the Republican nominee and record donations.  Trying to replace Biden at the last min would be seen by many Dems as an unforced error. the small handful of Democrats who have stepped up to challenge Biden like Dean Phillips have received basically zero support from other Democrats.

4. The "handlers", Deepstate, super secret group of people running things behind the curtain doesn't exist like many people think it does. The White House, the DNC, and all its apparatuses are led by Joe Biden and his hand picked assistants and staffers. Joe Biden is the most powerful man in the Democratic party right now and there is no single person or small group of people who have the power to "force" him out or replace him against his will. The article states that these conspiracies people have about Biden being a puppet for people behind the scenes is all tv, Hollywood stuff and isn't how real life American politics work.

As has been said, the only way he’s replaced if he withdraws personally and a swap happens at the convention. His call and consequence. No other scenario.
