The gop is problematic. They’ve already had options and passed. Trump could shoot 5 fbi guys in his front yard tomorrow and maga would just respond Biden, Hunter, Hillary, whoever did something just as bad.  Pure muscle memory. The party simply has been overwhelmed with head cases and currently is unfixable.

Ultimately this is Biden’s moment - either he voluntarily withdraws or it is what it is (without a 3rd party dynamic).

The fringes of both parties seem determined to sink everyone if they don't get their way.  If Biden stepped aside, many on the far left would push Kamala Harris or another candidate that is incapable of winning the general election.  There are candidates capable of winning, but the question is can they get the backing needed?  Where we are is as messy of a place politically as I have ever seen.
