Are things perfect, no. Are things getting better? By far. Bush did inherit the Clinton-Gore Recession in 2001. He is not the greatest President we have ever had either. But he is nowhere near as bad as the obsessed looney Left portray him to be. The stats I figured above are from people who spent their entire lives working on research, not a knee jerk journalist with an axe to grind that did 5 minutes of googling a story. The fact that more Americans are working now, and t6hat we are adding wealth is a good thing. Taxing people to death like Carter did just ruined the economy back in 1980 and swept Reagan into office. I would like to see a perfect world where everyone is making good maoney but it just wont happen. BTW, your poverty level stats...prior to Welfare reform, Poverty levels were around 19%. After welfare reform, they are at 12%? The percentage in poverty increased from 12.5% to 12.7%. Bet the Left hates those figures too.And now that the Clinton-Gore Recession is over, many are returning to wealthy again. That is not a bad thing at all.
