StatTiger 3,188
During Pat Dye's first three years, Auburn posted a 25-10-0 record, which was the 18th highest win pct in the country during that 3-year period. Tuberville started off with a 21-15-0 record during his first three years at Auburn, good enough to be tied for 43rd in the country in terms of win pct during that 3-year period. Dye obviously got off to a better start at Auburn. During his next 4 seasons (1984-1987), Dye posted a 36-11-2 record, which was the 8th best win pct (.755) in the country over that 4-year period. Over the last 4 seasons (2002-2005), Tuberville's teams have posted a 39-12-0 record, which is the 10th best win pct (.765) in the country over the last 4 years. Tuberville has caught up with our previous success under Dye but can he keep it going?
