Boonan 0
Since ESPN likes USC and the BCS so much, then why in the world do they use the AP poll for the rankings when listing teams in games or on gameday and all that? Only the AP has AU as #2, and that's what ESPN has them as, and the AP has nothign to do with the BCS anymore. Just wondering.
saniflush 0
I think it has always been pretty standard practice in the media to list a team with their highest ranking.
Boonan 0
Yeah, but like when Reece, Lou, and Mark and yapping, and it has the scrolling rankings behind them, it always has AU at 2 and USC at 3. I'm not really complaining, I just wonder why they do it that way with the USC love fest they carry on.
Aufan59 62
The coaches poll used to be affiliated with ESPN, and they used to use these rankings. Now they use the AP poll, because that is the most valid poll. The coaches poll is a joke, and to use it dampens your credibility.
