Ranger12 46 Posted May 30, 2007 Share Posted May 30, 2007 Heard something about this guy earlier today when I heard one of my heroes, Gen. Chuck Yeager, speaking of him. If Chuck Yeager is backing this guy, I had to do some research on him for sure. Up until today, none of the candidates had impressed me much, but now I may have possibly found somebody I can get behind. It also does not hurt that this guy is a Vietnam vet that served with the 75th Rangers and the 173rd Airborne where he executed recon missions. Nobody can say he avoided combat. On top of that, one of his sons has served two tours in Iraq. You have to look hard these days to find a D.C. politician that actually has a son or daughter serving in the war on terrorism.
