Of the 85, 45 (53%) were about...drum roll please...Barack Obama. That is not a misprint. 53%. Not surprisingly, not one post was positive or even neutral about the Presidential candidate. Not one. Every single one tried to marginilize, demean, poke fun, or otherwise distort him in some way. Now, some will quickly counter back that I'm a homer for Obama. And maybe I am. But I am FOR SOMETHING. And I would rather be for something than against something any day of the week. And yes, I have posted about John McCain when it is news worthy but not post after post after post after post. Some on this board clearly have an agenda, a political ax to grind, and are interested in nothing more than scoring cheap points. This is the Karl Rove politics of the past. Again, it does not matter who post what...but if we know the agenda they are trying to push...we get a better understanding of who they are, what they are all about, and WHY they do what they do. Barack and Hillary are locked in a primary while McCain already has his nomination sewn up. No news came out this month about McCain because the primary is sewn up and he's not out on the line campaigning. And Tigermike doesn't wear McCain kneepads like you do for Obama. The spotlight shows him to be an insightful and realistic person with no intention of inflicting felatio on any of the candidates. You haven't procreated yet, have you? I'd hate to see the fairy tales you spin when trying to justify to your child why he has to work for everyone else's existence when he grows up. Or maybe he will be one of the few who gets to enjoy the UTOPIA that achmed will bring. You really do live in a strange world. Everything you post is a lovefest for achmed. As far as the thread, this is possibly one of the dumbest threads I have ever seen. Of course everyone post for the person they like. The fact that someone only post on one side just means they are not moderate but they agree with all sides. As far as the negative politics and politics of the past: we need to know the negative things about a candidate. My girlfriends sororiety has elections and they do not allow anyone to say something bad about the other person and what they get is people who don't represent well because all that anyone is allowed to say is, "She was always really sweet, and she has great grades." So negative politics can sometimes be positive. Though I do disagree with a lot of what TM negatively posts about Obama, I still think elections would be terrible if we didn't know the bad stuff too.
