WinCrimson 61
While these new figures are a result of Obama clinching the nomination, they're also indicative of the Clintonians throwing their support behind him. In every poll conducted after she conceded, his support among Democrats has greatly increased. So, instead of dismissing it as a simple uptick in poll numbers, understand that this is the new reality -- Hillary supporters will, by in large, support the Dem nominee and be the cause of an election that won't be nearly as close as some would like to think. This thing is over and we're not even near July. autigeremt 6,717
We will see.......just like in sports, you cannot count anyone out this early in the game. Remember, McCain was left for dead, and he rose up.
WinCrimson 61
over. Over. OVER. Obama's about to cruise to a victory that might even be considered boring by some. McCain has no base. No coherent message. And most importantly, no money. And I'm not even touching on the filibuster-proof Senate President Obama will be receiving in the next election cycle. Whoa. http://rasmussenreports.com/ http://www.gallup.com/poll/107791/Gallup-D...-Stabilize.aspx http://pollingreport.com/wh08gen.htm
bigsixfive 328
Do you mind if we actually held the election before decisions are made, or does Obama have a problem with that too?
WinCrimson 61
Oh, no, I want the election to go full steam ahead. If you can't tell, I'm really looking forward to it. Neither I or Obama have a problem with elections. We do, however, have a problem with lying and misleading the American people to justify an immoral and illegal war that has killed over 4,000 Americans, wounded nearly 30,000 Americans, and killed 40,000 Iraqis. We do have a problem with packing the Supreme Court with holier than thou anti-intellectual thugs. We do have a problem with the complete disrespect for our nation's Constitution, for the checks and balances built into our system, and for the rule of law itself. We do have a problem with abandoning an entire American city to the ravages of a natural disaster. And we also have problems with illegally holding and torturing people. Elections, particularly those in which my candidate is going to cruise in, I have no problem with. I'd vote tomorrow if possible.

Sounds like you're more buddy buddy with Obama now than all the Bama recruits. Have you ever considered that those 40,000 wounded "Iraqis" include Al-Qaida and Iranians? So now we've got supreme court justices that are gang bangers or mobsters. Funny, I thought it was Obama that had the ties back to the Chicago area mob. Again, your lack of respect is just amazing. You've got a problem with disrespect for the Constitution, but you want to vote for the guy that wants to run the thing through the paper shredder with his socialist ideology? Last I checked, those people were given ample warning and opportunity to leave. Katrina wasn't exactly a fast moving storm, it sat in the Gulf aimed at the NO-Biloxi shore for several days. What you witnessed was a failure on the local and state government levels, but you refuse to blame them because they put a fat D by their name. Therefore, your next logical thought is to blame Bush. Since you're so critical of the president, I'd like to know how much did you go and contribute to the relief effort?
