RunInRed 16,438
Guess he plans on being around longer than most think he will be... New University of Tennessee football coach Lane Kiffin and his wife, Layla, have purchased a home in the Victoria's Inlet subdivision.According to county records, the couple paid $2.6 million for a home on Tooles Bend Road. Kiffin was hired last year to replace Phillip Fulmer, and is UT's second high-profile coach in the last 12 months to sign off on a pricy residence. Last year, hoops coach Bruce Pearl bought a (cheaper) home in Gettysvue. http://blogs.knoxnews.com/knx/flory/2009/0...n_west_kno.html

RunInRed 16,438
Kiffin takes another hit... ESPN report on Lane KiffinESPN asked the Oakland Raiders for comment. The Raiders. A real organization. Here is the team's response: "Lane Kiffin is a flat-out liar. He lied to the team, he lied to the fans and he lied to the media. He will destroy that university like he tried to destroy the Raiders and will eventually clash with (Pat) Summitt and (Bruce) Pearl. Other than that, the Raiders can say nothing further." http://jaygtate.blogspot.com/ Whoa. Tell us how you really feel next time. Ha!
