We tried to hold off the pen as long as we could it seems in case we end up in loser bracket

Skipper is coming in for Gonzalez. Need big innings from our bullpen.

But won't matter if we can't do ANYTHING on offense.

I just don't think it's our night. Any ball we hit is at them. Every ball they hit finds a spot.

That ball to Pierce wasn’t hit in a tough spot. He took two steps back. Completely misread it. That’s the only reason it was a tough play.

Unfortunately, it won’t matter with our plate approach today.

Strike out.

LaRue, Bello, Rambusch coming up. Bats need to come alive now.

Edit: Unless things change in a hurry, updates will be coming at a slower pace. Just one per inning.

5-0 Ole Miss B6th

Awful at bats continue with a LaRue strike out.

Bello 0-2 count ... grounds out on 3 pitches.

Rambusch 1-2 count ... 4 pitch strike out. *shrugs* Nothing else to say that hasn't already been said.

5-0 Ole Miss T7th

Our batters look scared.

This is a disgraceful approach right now. I mean come on Gross I'm all for working counts but 80% of his first pitches are strikes and we're just keeping the bat on our shoulder. Time to make something happen. We didn't come here to not swing

Can we stop taking the first pitch strike??

Well when we haven’t it’s been an out or a swing and a miss. We’ve went back to the UK series Auburn. Unreal
