  1. Ah okay. I remember his b!tc# fit after the 2014 game and the whole "injury" thing which is pretty ridiculous. I hadn't heard about the prayer circle thing. Thought maybe he had said something new.
  2. I need to know what this is all about. I remember McCready getting pissy about the game in Ole Miss 2 years ago.
  3. Is the salary mandated by the NCAA or is that up to the school to set?
  4. I think this is the ticket. Hire him as an offensive analyst and eventually move him to QB coach or possibly OC next year if Lashlee moves on. Everyone is happy, even Lashlee cause he'll look better as an OC with Stidham at QB anyway, even if Briles is nipping at his heels.
  5. Feast or famine with this coaching staff. This is more depressing than any loss we've had in the last couple of years, maybe since FSU in Pasadena. I said before the game that if Auburn showed up, we would win by a couple of scores. The defense showed up. The offense took a vacation for a week while getting ready for this one.
  6. Georgia's signature win may well be the Kentucky game, considering they had moved into 1st place in the East at that time, until Georgia beat them. And that, in and of itself, is a sign of just how subpar the East is. As eulessau said, Georgia racked up their defensive stats against some average and below average offenses. USC is 120th in total offense, Vandy 125th, UF 91st, and UT 78th. Surprisingly, Mizzou is actually the highest rated offense they've faced at 25th, with Ole Miss at 36th, and UNC at 40th. But Mizzou is also a terrible team and they squeaked by the Tigers back in September 28-27. Fun fact, Mizzou put up more points against Georgia than they have against any other Power 5 team they've played. Ole Miss put 45 on them in that beatdown. Auburn will be the highest rated total offense that the dwags will have faced with by far the best rushing offense they've yet seen. I know Georgia has speed and I know they'll be motivated and physical, etc. If Auburn shows up and plays flat, we'll absolutely be staring a loss in the face. But if Auburn shows up and plays the way they played against MSU and Arkansas and Ole Miss, the final score shouldn't be close. Georgia may stack up decently well against Auburn's offense because of the injuries - they don't stack up at all against Auburn's defense and that defensive line. Again, Auburn comes out motivated and the Tigers win by 2-3 scores at the end. Here's hoping they come out motivated.
  7. This! I've been wondering this ever since it was mentioned that he didn't pick it all up by now. This is just part of the development problem that is afflicting this offensive staff. How do you bring a guy in that you're expecting to compete for the starting job and let him go through winter workouts, Spring camp, summer workouts, and Fall camp, and not know the whole offense??? Not sure Gus can use the "it's a complicated offense" excuse considering how JV and repetitive the play calling is. This is unacceptable. In the same way that putting Sean out there and not tailoring the offense to fit his skill set, especially when it became obvious that he was going to be the starter and not Franklin. White is far from perfect but he'd look a lot better in an offense that more resembles what we ran in 2009.
  8. It won't be SOP now that the staff is in place. From this point on, they will offer the guys they feel have the chance to contribute and help the team in this system - both offensively and defensively. They won't offer someone and then decide to pull the offer later - the system won't change unless a coach leaves. If they offer, they mean it and the only time an offer would potentially be pulled is if that recruit is playing games or if they get involved in something that Auburn doesn't want to associate itself with, like legal or character issues.
