i agree as opinions are just that opinions. i like the insights you bring to the board. i think your posts generate more hate because you are well educated. when you have stalkers it means you are living in some minds rent free. and i forgot to thank you for your kind words on my cancer stuff. you made me feel better.............

I went through it, as far as your cancer stuff and I know it can be hard and scary and I just wanted to let you know that it was going to be ok. Even the dark days I just wanted you to know there will be the sunny ones around the corner. And I'm still here if there is anything you want to talk about or you have any anxiety about anything. Just want to support and help you anyway that I can.

I did wish I had anybody to support or help me when I was going thru as far as the board because I didn't have anybody to talk sports with on those lonely hospital days lol. But this board lets just say I'm not the favorite person lol, I'm going to address the elephants in the rooms and most aren't going to like it.

I'm very happy you are doing better and getting stronger, no thanks needed for me man. This was all about you. Your health is bigger than me.

My biggest issue with Nix is a lack of downfield consistency. Not a lot of 30 plus yard completions.

Personally impressed with sticking to the O Line for Pittsburgh. Filled two big voids so far. Now it’s time to work on defense.

I felt like this class was weak on pass rushers it seemed, what do you think? Maybe I'm missing some people. You have the guy from bammer, and a couple of d tackles that are pretty athletic, but I didn't see any actual d ends that stood out. I know that has to be disappointing to quite a few teams.

Until you change, you will always be miserable. Until you open your mind, you will always be full of hate and it’s really sad.

Lol. As usual you didn't read before you initially replied... And that's no big deal it just made you be wrong because you thought something that wasn't so, instead of just saying my bad of course you have to start the personal stuff.

Contrary to your belief just because I don't agree with these ridiculous takes you have doesn't make me miserable, I have an AMAZING life.

But no I will never be that passive, submissive, guy that sit blind and let people like you run over them. You have said way too much to feel like you can preach and cast judgement. I will go as far as to say only a couple of people have said more hateful things than you.

This is actually a great example of what I'm saying though, there's not a person on here that can say I have ever said anything disrespectful about Bo, but he is so privileged among some of you that you all really think you can't say things of him that you all have freely said about so many others. It's to a point saying something like Bo can't throw deep accurately is hate to some of you.  The fact you really can't look in the mirror, or understand is what's actually sad. But it is what it is as they say.

I see, so privilege made him number three in the Heisman Trophy voting, the number two all-time passing yards leader in NCAA history and the overall number 12 pick in the NFL draft. It was all privilege.

You could maybe just try to read. I'm talking about the privilege he gets on this board. I'm not you, how could I speak on his privilege at places I don't know anything about?

As far as on this board he's the most privileged and pampered player to ever be discussed on here. You guys hate other players that literally gave their all to Auburn just because they had the audacity to be QBs when Bo was here. Then you hated the guy that had to replace him.

And now he's a martyr poor him as if people really attacked him. Saying he needs to make better decisions became attacks. He was treated so bad. While other guys were talked about like dogs.

Meanwhile on this forum threads were deleted, locked, hidden, for the slightest criticism of Bo. Meanwhile other guys could be attacked personally and not even confirmed if rumors were even true.

  5. LMAO is Bill really a guy to keep naming as far as identifying QB talent? Bill had the goat..... Some of you could coach a team with him as your QB and get a few wins. He's also the guy that drafted mac Jones in the first round ..... Seems like people would lean more on him just being a head coach or talking defense. Unless they are saying he taught Brady his skills.....

  6. Thanks bro. I agree with you 1000 percent. Minus the Atlanta annual dumb decisions that won't let me really be a fan.... I think everybody else in the NFL did good jobs.

Of course I think Bo is over hyped but he did do good his last two years so give him a shot. I just think it's crazy to spend a first round spot on him.

I really like that safety from Iowa. I hope he goes to an exciting team. I really liked the Ravens pick too.

Actually I take a statement back, I think the niners should have made a different pick. I'm interested to see if the Texans get any gems as well.

    It's weird, right?

Every time Nix comes up there are a ton of "everybody hated this guy, but look at this!" type comments.

    But going back to a lot of those threads, there wasn't a lot of hate. Unless you count comments like;

"He throws off his back foot a bit too much" or

""Sometimes I think he's too quick to run out of the pocket" or

"I wish he was more accurate on some of the passes over the middle"

It's weird to see things like that spun as 'constant hatred' 🤷‍♂️

I think they are going off of stats, his ORE vs UGA game was.... not stellar

But, no ones was that year.

Heres an extra tidbit too that I found odd.

Caleb Williams Heisman year where he easily won:

Bo Nix stats the very next year.. good for 3rd place in Heisman race:

I didn't catch any combine this year, but have to imagine Bo did awesome, cause people were not giving him the respect for his on field product that the numbers suggest they should have.

Right. So so hated. It's so ironic he will be with stidham.... Even stid couldn't get thru here unscathed..... Any other guy or coach leaves here they are scum.

Other QB leave the official site celebrated the kid having a bad game as if he ever did anything other than give his best at Auburn. Bo leaves it's all poor him and he had to play for Harsin.... Congrats as if he still played at Auburn. When have you ever seen that for another player that transferred? This thread wouldn't even be allowed on this board it would be on the rivals section if it was anybody else. If I didn't know better I would say he was a Manning, that's about the only guy I've seen be more privileged in the game of football.

Entire career it has always been somebody else fault for anything bad and all the praise and glory for anything good.

We will all get to see now though, no more excuses right. Good coach, every opportunity in the world, offensive minded coach. The coach even throws a bunch of wr screens and passes to the HB.....I mean it's perfect.

I like the young talent we have but we needed a proven veteran for this year.  I suspect a few of our receivers may take it as a message.  More than anything, we need a line that can pass block. Hopefully we have that.  Thorne will still have to prove himself every game.  Fortunately, we have a few games to get the bugs out.

I feel that, and agree. But I'm saying if you are going to bring in somebody the needs of QB and o line is far greater IMO. Freshmen can come in and make impacts at wr and HB pretty easy if they are physically gifted enough. O line and QB not so much

I think it's pretty evident that freeze thinks we do have that quarterback. We'll see what he does now that all the pieces are in place. Remember even Bo Nix  look terrible with what was surrounding him.

Bo didn't look terrible but he looked like Bo because he couldn't play in that system. It wasn't like Bo was doing something good and the players around him did bad. He went to a school whose conference doesn't play the type of defense they here. He also went to a system where they didn't ask him to make pro throws. That worked out well for him, except when they played a SEC team. Then he looked the same.

The super game manager isn't going to work here yet. We don't have the line or the defense. Yet. Right now here we need a QB that will put it on his back and will make accurate throws even under pressure.

And I disagree I think it was evident he didn't think he did, he just felt he didn't have anybody if that guy became upset and transferred.

  10. The dreaded the wr can really block evaluation lol.

We will have to be patient and rely on the running game in the beginning. We need a d tackle to really step up. Need to find the right combination of guys in the secondary so they can start building a chemistry.

We need HB to make a meteoric jump. EVERYTHING will boil down to the QB play. If that doesn't go right the wr will leave everybody will doubt us and not take is serious.

    Very very big year

It’s like a quote I remember hearing about Barry Bonds—“you don’t know which runs he got specifically because of steroids but you know that he wouldn’t have had as many without them.”

Don't see what you are trying to say at all here, but with Barry either way you can get HOF stats before steroids was even a question.  But that's neither here or there ...

What other options does he have?

Take their 💲, ball out another year and be worshipped like a star at uat doesn't sound like a bad decision to me.  Heck, get a master's degree on their dime too.

Ultimate goal is NBA, if the interest of situation isn't good I'm sure he'll look at it. I'd love for him to end up in Dallas
