A change in attitude from the coaching staff. 3-15 against UGA over the last 18 years. This is a major contributor to the talent discrepancy between the two programs. Coach Freeze needs to take a Pat Dye approach to the UGA rivalry. Bama is always the biggest. But in my opinion, failure to compete against UGA has had an incredibly significant negative impact to the Auburn football program. And if he doesn’t think there is hate, he should spend some time in north Atlanta and he will soon understand. War Eagle.

CHF is not that stupid. He understands what can happen if you don’t get the job done. Gus….he was as stubborn as an ole mule.

I also go back to the 2008 nightmare season with Tubs and the Tony Franklin experiment. TF was in over his head. We lost our mind and implemented a new system requiring new personnel. When that went bad Gus came behind it with a similar approach, but still had SEC caliber offensive lineman. But those events began a perpetual downward spiral of recruiting lineman. The longer it lasted, the worse the overall recruiting classes……and here we are.
