  1. I didn't make it up. It's something I heard Joe Montana say and I believe he would know.
  2. Well, I guess that's a fair question but there is only so much a coach can do. The player has to step up and make the plays. That position is unlike any other in sports as it requires instant recognition and the ability to react accordingly almost instantly. There's just not that many people who can do that. Mechanics can be taught but a lot of what it takes to play QB at the highest level is instinctive and its either something a player has or he doesn't.
  3. I see where Gus stated the QB had to be more of a runner this year but I'm not buying a lot of stock in that unless his intention is to telegraph to Clemson what they need to prepare for. I have no idea who will start but I seriously doubt the decision is going to turn on who runs the ball the best but, that's just me. Actually, I think it would be clever to not officially name a starter prior to kick off. Let the whole thing come down to a game day decision but I doubt that happens as well.
  4. Always making it personal. I'm not ignorant kemosabe. I've been onto the Clintons and their politics of personal enrichment for a long time while you defend them. Staying ignorant is a prerequisite to defending Bubba and his gal Hillary. It is absolutely immaterial who hacked the DNC's system. What IS relevant is what they found and as usual they found a crooked attempt to rig the primary and you're defending it. What a surprise!
  5. Even NBC reporting anti-Clinton tone at the DNC. How ironic is all this? The republican convention looks like a model of stability when compared to this s**t show in Philly. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/2016-conventions/pro-sanders-protests-take-striking-anti-clinton-tone-n616351
  6. It doesn't matter who hacked their system bro. The party is guilty as hell of trying to fix the primary. THEY WERE MAKING EVERY EFFORT TO RIG THE damn thing.Talking about getting your head out of the sand..how 'bout taking your own advice.
  7. That's funny stuff while democrats embrace a hate group in America and lie as a way of life and have always been willing to do anything to win. Its supremely ironic that a democrat would be hurling that accusation around. Are you suggesting that WikiLeaks email release has no merit because democrats are spinning a story about who hacked the DNC emails? If so, that's adorable.
  8. So, did Putin conspired with the less than honest democrats when they tried to do everything in their power in insure a Hillary coronation? These people don't care and besides I'm not buying the Putin smoke screen because it doesn't invalidate the democrat corruption - it simply confirms it! http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2016/07/24/bernie-sanders-supporters-chant-lock-her-up-in-philadelphia-protest-against-clinton/
  9. After a week of virtually celebrating the divisions within the republican convention, the Dems 1st day is already worse than their republican counterparts. http://townhall.com/tipsheet/cortneyobrien/2016/07/25/dnc-protests-already-surpass-those-at-the-rnc-n2197234 ........................."Well, the joke is on the DNC. The Democrats haven’t even officially begun their convention, and already thousands of protesters are lining the streets of Philadelphia to decry the Democratic National Committee’s “rigged” primary system that offered Bernie Sanders no shot at the nomination."
  10. We're talking about recruiting genius, NOT players already on the roster. Do you know the difference or just want to change the subject? We can discuss KF if thats where you want to go. I didn't say anything about opinions. i simply stated, I'll defer to those held responsible for the product they put on the field. IOW, its really not my problem, its the coaches' problem who are doing the recruiting. What is it about that you dont understand?
  11. Personally, I'll choose rely on the judgement of those responsible for the product they put on the field. No second guessing necessary IMO, WM knows what he needs to fit his system. Dontcha think?
  12. The above statement is pure truth. Wow, that is some serious cynicism right there. "Basically a sewer" huh? Well, lets just say I have to disagree with that, which is not to say that I think college athletics is a completely pure enterprise. Im not that naive but I definitely do not equate it to a sewer. Not much good comes out of a sewer, last I checked.
  13. Yeah, I dont recommend that site to anyone. I also do not recommend wasting one's time arguing with those nimrods because they'll never understand anything said other than "rawl tahd"
