FROM MEETING HIM FOR THE THIS WEEKEND, HE SEEMS TO BE A VERY COOL GUY. COACH LINDSEY IS A LAYED BACK GUY, WHOSE A PEOPLE PERSON. IT WILL BE A PLEASURE TO GET TO KNOW HIM BETTER AND THE DISCUSS HIS VISION MORE IN THE FUTURE.
Thank you for responding Momma Worm, so glad to have you & your son as part of the AU family.

I am very excited to meet him this weekend as well.
I would be interested in your impression of Coach Lindsey, and of the over-all atmosphere of Jr. Day.

His 1st choice was obviously another "Muschamp"...a proven guy outside the Gus tree.
Otherwise, he would have hired Lindsey almost immediately after Lashlee left. No?
Obviously, Gus hired his fall-back guy.
I'm not saying Gus didn't aim high. That's what some of you are mistaken on.
All coaches aim high. Gus doesn't have the clout anymore to get his 1st choice.
Thus, he HAS to rely on fall-back guys.
THAT'S the point.
Feel free to call back.
Gus wouldn't have got his 1st choice even if he had clout.

Does The Dadevile Record published once a week count as a newspaper? If so, count me in!
If it doesn't take over a minute to read it, it doesn't count.

This article makes it sound like we're still in good shape, just need Chip to close the deal.

No we need Balance..... Throwing isn't going to win games int he SEC day in and day out.
His offense has been balanced, last year they averaged a few more passes a game than runs, and the year before at Southern Miss it was just the opposite.

Ummm, remember David Marshall? Ya know, the measly 3-Star defensive lineman out of Georgia that was committed to us in the last cycle before flipping to UGA. All he went on to do in his true freshman campaign was record 26 total stops this season, including 2.5 QB sacks, 3.5 TFLs and five QB pressures.
Yeah I remember him playing a bunch of games with everyone; maybe he grew up.

Nothing like taking lessons from an Auburn - All Pro - Hall of Famer - with a few "War Eagles" thrown in. That's awesome !!!!
My brother & I used to work out at Kaz's gym in Auburn when Kevin played for Auburn (he also worked out there); my brother used to give him a hard time because he never did leg exercises, and his legs were small. Well when he made it to the pros I guess he got the last laugh.

Thanks Jeff, but it does look better than the last photo with the Peter's you have to admit.

He has rushed for a total of 1580 yards & 20 TD's for the season. He gained 791 yards & 10 TD's during the playoffs!
This shows me that when he got to the Playoffs that the Worm took it to another level; that he was able to gain as many yards , and Touchdowns in the Playoffs as he did in the regular season is remarkable.

Hopefully they will take the bag man with them so we can end this today, even if we have to take an extra bag for Briles.

Thanks for this educational and thought provoking post. Great, balanced reporting in your observations by hitting on our shortcomings (free throws, rebounding and average defensive play) as well as high points (point guard play, depth and 3 pt. shooting.)
You cannot help but be encouraged by this team and the fact that we are even talking about the tournament at 6-1 and a chance to go 7-1 with an RPI that is on the rise. CBP is doing something very special here and this young roster is fun to watch.
Out of likes (I don't know how I used 25 likes and it's only 12:00), but I agree, and welcome to the site.
