I wish we would have went for oswalt if for anything else than to keep him out of Philly. We have some bats on our team. They are just going dormant right now.

I saw Jordan Schafer play for AA Mississippi Braves at Thirsty Thursday last night. Still striking out alot! He did look fast in warmups though lol

what worries me is the trade the phillies pulled off with houston. they will be there in the end.

that 7 1/2 game lead is dwindling real quick.

watchin gamecast that 2nd pitch to prado did not even touch the zone. the 3rd pitch which was a ball, was halfway inside the zone.

whats up with lowe? gamecast looks like he's keeping the ball down. just all over the place though.

I guess this works out. I'm at work now so I'll deply gamecast. Tonight is Thirsty Thursday at the Stars game. Won't be home anyways!!!

depressing loss tonight. if we can't hit any better than that against a stand-in pitcher for the NATIONALS then it is going to be a tough 2nd half to watch

this is two games in a row we've had an ump that needs to get the poo-nuggets out of his dang ears. Granted they are calling trash both ways, its still trash. That last strike he just called was 7" above the plate. Unless you brought your Big Bertha, thats a ball.

Jesus we look pathetic. I've yet to see a single positive play in the field. Absolutely horrible.

no he was grimmising(sp?) in warmups a little bit. was throwing in the bullpen before the game and apparently wasn't feeling right. more of a better safe than pregnant kinda move.

yup. can only be good news for us. is anyone elses' fox sports south kind of 'hick-up'ing. every 10 seconds or so mine spazzes out for a split second.

Glaus walks like a retired basketball player. He 'runs' like a retired basketball player. When Glaus first came in there, I did not care for him. He seemed to slump and I just did not get a good vibe out of him. ALAS!!!, hearing some interviews and watching how he plays the game has made me a Glaus fan. What does that mean? He'll probly get traded For serious, I'm glad we are playing tonight. Tommy better bring his A game. I'm not banking on a whole lot of run support in Washington.

I'll not bash on Nate... I hope if he plays he breaks his slump. He's hit a few good balls, just found no holes.
