Unfortunately, you won't get much for Nate right now. He's not only slumping like a 90 year old woman, but he just came off the DL, AGAIN. Its a shame. I actually like Nate, but he killed us last night, for sure. Chavez looked horrible. I could not believe how fast the bases filled up. Its almost like we conceeded the game. God I hate the fish!

If you leave that many men on base, you shouldn't win a ball game. I'll bounce on Nate for that one. That was pretty piss poor. He started out patient. Very frustrating game to watch.

i just dont understand looking to get ANOTHER outfielder, when if anything we are 1 heavy right now. we have a very solid platoon in right with melky/heyward. blanco/mclouth both do fine in center. diaz and hinske platoon in left. *sigh* I dunno. McClouth is starting to warm up a hair again.

True that. I guess they put 'Los Marlins' on their jerseys to appeal to 'other' markets in their area. Personally gets on my nerves, but this isn't a political board....

what is it about the dang marlins and dan uggla. we can never put those guys away. whether they are tops in the division or battling the nationals for last, they always play the braves tough.

we've got a chance, but we normally win the first one. Losing the first game of the season is like walking the leadoff man. Makes it an uphill battle for the series.

Losing that one last night will make winning this series tough. We ALWAYS find trouble with the fish.

I like Nate, but Blanco comes up and gets it done everytime he is up here. We are over staffed in the outfield. KK cannot be utilized in the bullpen. Its a shame, but he just can't be. And anyone who puts him starting over JJ or Medlen is... well... not bright.

If they trade medlen and put KK back in the rotation i may just have to.... well... i dunno... but that'd suck!

I still think Tommy s hould have missed his last start before the break and let JJ fill his spot. Then put KK to the bullpen after the break. Tommy has the right stuff, but I think a good 10 day off stretch to rest and work out a few kinks would have got him in better shape for the 2nd half. But what do I know....

no love for the national league on espn. they bumped the braves down to 4 in the power rankings and have the rangers @ 3. *shrug*. matters not. we only have to win the NL to get to the show. Padres are 5th. I know someone disagreed, but I think this series sets the tone. If we can win this one it'll say alot.
