Personal opinion on Kelly. He is a short term success person. He will not have Nike's funding that helped him greatly at Oregon. He left Oregon partly because he was going to be in trouble with the NCAA. He has not proven he can have long term success anywhere. He is a big name, but no guarantee as a coach. I think he may pick up very good recruits in the short term, but will it last?

Hill is have my a great year. Lots of schools want him including UGA. With the way our offense is playing and the receivers looking good Hill has to be impressed. Glad to be getting this guy!

There is always a possibility of Nix going to FSU, but it is a small one. Once Fields committed to UGA I think that lessens the chance of Nix considering anyone but AU seriously.

I think most indicators point to Nix going to AU. Some folks just love to press the panic button.

I watched a lot of the game. Damn, Lawrence is the real deal. I hate him at Clemson. Just tired of Clemson being good. Gatewood is very athletic. He is a big axx dude. He will make AU better. Gatewood should have transferred to a better program this year like Trinity.

It can be very helpful in Gus's offense if we don't have to substitute players a lot. It slows things down a lot if we sub in guys, and the defense gets a chance then to sub as well.

Funny. I think it is sometimes cool to add an AU connection to the conversation......however old. I do think Shivers is a tough kid and will be a great asset to us. Love that we got him and all his speed.

The AJC came out with their Super 11. The best 11 HS football players in GA for this year. Hill is on the team. Awesome for him. Fields is on the team as well.

We have had our share or elite RB kids that have not panned out lately. Look at Roc Thomas and Jovon Robinson, both 5 stars. We can get big recruits, just not all the time.

We need to make sure we have T Will locked down with a decent contract for multiple years. He is obviously one of our most valuable coaches. He recruits at an elite level and he is an excellent coach. Kids want to play for him. He is very impressive..
