Well a lot of things work against Auburn, not the “flagship “ university of the State so Updykes and Mutts edge us, no Taj Mahal football only facility to entertain the kiddies. Lots of negative recruiting by rivals aided by our fans , PTB and media. Did I miss anything?

This is a good class even if no one else is added and after the negative recruiting from media and other coaches and the fan base meltdown , I can’t believe we didn’t lose anyone and gained two very good prospects. Ok Gus next step lead this team to a double digit beat down of Purdue. War Eagle!

Pulling Hall out of the Biloxi-Gulfport area is huge , they’re usually all LSU in that region of the County.

Tubbs got lazy with the recruiting part of the job and Saban out worked him, kids today want to play in the NFL they have no preference or favorite college. That’s what Saban gives them the opportunity to be in the limelight every damn year, until Auburn gets this we will always be a few steps behind on the recruiting trail.
