Remember last week when everyone was complaining that Auburn could not get anyone someone else wanted. I was being sarcastic about the sudden change in attitudes. I even saw someone who said someone always gets the ones we want say and we don't get anyone say another big pick up for us. It's just funny that fans are so one extreme or the other.

It's tough to tell what we really have in a QB without a quality OL. Hopefully that is starting to be corrected.

It's really surprising to me that nobody else wanted a 4* QB and a 4*OT. Guess Auburn was just lucky nobody else wanted them. Anyway that's good.

If y'all want to be like Tenn. go ahead. Losing one recruit (which we haven't even lost yet) doesn't mean the sky is falling. Many of you get all upset every time we miss on someone but fail to say anything when we beat out one of our rivals for someone else. It's just the way recruiting goes. We will end up getting our share and who know we may end up with this guy. Bunch of whiners!!!

Well hopefully this isn't over and Gus can use his in person charm on him. Keith said he would still be visiting so let's not lose it here.

I say let Mikey go. In the past he went on and on about LB's and now we are in great shape. If him continuing to talk about the O'line has the same results preach on.

This kid might be really good then. If he has that size and the speed that he could have played TE. That is an awesome combination.

I know we have fallen for this time after time. Bama and Ga. keep doing it to try and make us look bad on signing day. This kid just didn't hide it as well as some of the others. I know people make excuses for these kids because they are kids but they know what they are doing is wrong they are 18 not 10. Glad we pulled the offer. I would assume in the next day or two we will see who is pulling the strings this year.

What happened with the kid that Decommitted but we still thought we lead for? I can't remember his name seems like he was a lineman.

I think we just have bad luck with any kid who has a handle like the Great or the Goat. Wasn't Pickens something like George the great or George the Goat like Javo the Great.

So are you saying Tank is the only RB Auburn is taking?

I'm not sure what will happen this year but next year should be very exciting. More than likely they will move Riley to 3rd saving $23 mill. by letting Donaldson go. They will either trade Inciarte or move him back to center ( I think they will bring up Pache and trade Inciarte though) saving another $7 mill. They will let Swarzak go saving another $8 mill. Gausman and O'Day should also be off the books saving another $18 mill.. All that said the Braves are going to have a whole lot of money to spend on a starting pitcher and a couple of relievers this offseason. To me the infield will be set with Freeman, Albies, Swanson, Riley and McCann (Flowers). Outfield is set too with Markakis, Acuna and Pache.. Starting pitching with Teheran, Soroka, Fried, Folty + some free agent or one of the hot shots in the minors ( Anderson may be ready by then). I think if they could get a closer and a #1 or #2 starter at the trade deadline they could make a run this year. On Kimbrel I think they were a little scared because his stats are starting to tail off slightly and they didn't want to do a long term deal. I disagree I think he was the missing piece but I'm not the GM and I don't know as much as they do.

Oddly enough even the kids at Hoover are giving him a hard time not because he picked Georgia but because of the jerk way he did it. Kid always had a big ego. My guess is that this pretty much locks Robbie Ashford and his big ego up for Ga..

I don't think it will help us get anyone new but I think it may help us hold onto one or two we already had committed.

I meant that post for that one guy. I know Gus liked Cain and I have seen him play and he is good but I think DJ is better. I was just being a jerk. I get that way sometimes.

How is Gus letting all these RB's get past him? Oh wait he isn't he is just getting the ones that he really wants. (That's for all of the people sucking the air out of the room because Cain went somewhere else).

More like we think we are getting some players higher on the board or would you rather Gus let someone higher on his board go to get someone lower? Everything doesn't have to be negative , give it a try you will like it.

I know he was awesome when HT played Thompson last time. If we can hold on to him and George we will have some fantastic WR's for several years. Both of them are electric with the kick returns as well.

My guess is that Hoover beats them worse than they did the first time. Most likely will be a Thompson vs. Hoover rematch.
