  1. WE ARE GOING TO WIN THIS GAME. I AM TELLING YOU RIGHT NOW, WE HAVE GOT THIS MF. The entire key to this game was ALWAYS whether we could hold LSU to field goals in the red zone. We can and will and we will score TDs all night. It is about to be 20-14 and we are putting up over 45 tonight. I am stoked and feel great about this one right now.
  2. A win. Period. By any means necessary. I've been to many AU LSU games in Baton Rouge. It is a unique atmosphere. A fun atmosphere. My favorite road trip every other year the 6 years I spent at AU for undergrad and grad school. The tailgating is top notch all day long. But the TS mystique is ridiculously overblown. I was there for the "Bring Back the Magic" game with Dinardo in the mid 90's. That night was a legit atmosphere, on par with your average UGA or Bama game at JH when we are not playing for any type of SEC championship, etc. But that is it and the peak of TS. TS does not compare with a riled up or pissed off JH except on very rare occasions about twice a decade. It does not matter what the score is, 20% of the LSU fans will leave by the time the 4th quarter starts - count on that. We will see what happens, but we are gonna get after their ass come Saturday night.
  3. I was worng and that one hurt. I am not happy. That was a winnable game and one I truly expected us to win, period. We have capable players and coaches RIGHT NOW ON THIS TEAM. **** this noise about a bunch of teams on our schedule being more "talented" than us. We have dudes. And today we had Jordan Hare as well. But, as the GOAT essentially said in 81 after the Tenn game, that is life. Players, coaches and fans gave all they had today. My desire and hope for the team at the end of the first month of the season is for them to experience some BIG wins and moments that they can remember and look back on with a big smile down the road. Their efforts, hard work, and what they are doing this year for Auburn and themselves means something going forward. It will not be long until we are kicking some serious ass on the field. It might just start in two weeks at LSU, but as for UGA, they better strap in because they are in for another fight next year and they are in for an ass whupping at Jordan Hare in 2025, mark that down NOW. Great thing is our guys have opportunities to do just that on deck. LSU in two weeks, then Ole Piss the following week. Frankly, could not ask for a better set up. Let this one hurt - can't get it back and 20 years from now, it will still be there and hurt. But the moments and experiences to remember for the next 5, 10, 20, 50 years and smile and be proud of are right there and right around the corner now too. War Eagle - proud to be an Auburn Tiger as always.
  4. Georgia is going down today. We are ready for this one. I have heard enough about Georgia getting healthy and having a coming out party in our house today. Nope and nope. Period. End of story. Today will be ours. Hear me now believe me later
  5. I'm a man. I'm 40 (47). Be prepared to cry. Rest in peace coach Patrick Dye. We love you and we will never forget you. What you did for and meant to Auburn and especially how much you loved Auburn.
  6. Ellitor... 🖐️ Good to say hello again after several years. FYI, nothing has changed with me except two nephews graduated (from AU of course) so the family is now 4 generations strong of Aubies with more to follow. Exciting times these are. I was around for the beggining of the Dye era, and I'll be damned if this doesn't feel like the feeling that started building during the '81 season and was undeniable by the end of '82. I was like 5 years old but I remember my parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles excitement from back then. We are FINALLY all back on the same page again. Like Dye said in his opening press conference in 81. The Auburn people. The alumni. The former players. The student body. The faculty. The administration.
  7. Hello fellow Aubies 🖐️😊 I have not been around in a minute (apologies if anyone cares, lol). Today is a day worth noting and marking down. It is not so much about a single player, but about laying down an undeniable and unmistakable marker. We saw this coming with the epic, unreal and frankly embarrassingly under appreciated/underreported job Freeze did to salvage the 2023 class. Yeah, us Aubies took note and were quite encouraged. Then we started to even get a bit optimistic as he continued to do serious work in the portal. Yeah, local and national pundits made some comments here and there noting Freeze was doing well and making progress in recruiting and the portal. But by and large they really missed the boat entirely as to just how drastic was the change and its potential ramifications. The winds of change are blowing hard right now and will be even more apparent over the next week. We are COMING. At the expense of the buttsniffers and gumps no less. WDE
