Thank u Stat. Couple comments - Agree on Stidham as he stood in there better but I still don’t believe he is really prepared. Do they do a good job preparing him for the game plan? We long for someone to call it like it is (Saban) but he knows what he wants and demands it. We are 5 years in with Gus and still searching for an identity!

Yea on them correcting but we knew what they were going to do coming into the game and yet our top 5 D was not disciplined enough to stop it. Disappointing

Troxel and Brahms are/were hurt. I think they want to swap out Kim with either Brahms but he was not ready and there were hoping to get past LSU. There are always 5 stars/4 star guys that should not be and our ability to scout O-line players has been mediocre at best

They have the ability to change and because of their competition they done lose much. Our poor OL recruiting since Grimes was here 1st time is holding us back. Kim, Carr etc... were Way over rated i do think they want to replace Kim but have been wanting to get past this game,hoping to be 3-0

We miss a rush end terribly and that is absolutely necessary in an4 man front. Coe and Davidson are fine but not Lawson or Sunsei Mud.

The run by Cox was after a 1st down where we tried to speed up. I like pace but it was a poor call and a wasted play. Need to make sure we have the right personnel on the field

The 2 pt play after the 1st TD was unnecessary. The crowd went from rocking to quiet which could have affected the momentum if not for our d stop on the next series.

I am most excited about Hill. He was a stud n Ga this year and will be one on the plains.

I agree with u , the 2 leaving backs were the slowest with the exception of Miller but getting a potential back with this size a speed is an overall positive. Just think if he became our Derrick Henry?. If you saw OU or some of the others top teams our O speed needed to get better across the board and we are seeing a commitment to that.

I think our speed was severely lacking and we needed to become more explosive. That is what I am seeing.

If we have 5 slots I could go with 2-OL, 1-LB as long as it is Quay, 1-CB and 1 elite athlete. If he is not ready for hitting he will be washed out next fall, if he is we could have a stud!

We thought we had no chance so the fans soured on him. He is very good (very athletic) so is someone you take a chance on. We need speed and athleticism and he has it.

The spy comment is exactly what I was screaming about on the 1st half. Made no sense as he was the only O they had at that point. Early in the season I was really hoping for a Kam P and Kam M (Thunder and lightning) backfield with Kerryon as a receiving threat/back-up. I was wrong about Kerryon but still disappointed with lack of series from Martin. Maybe that is because of our lack of confidence in the O-line.

Stat, thank you very much. Concerning D, the tackles for loss was interesting, but overall we were not as dominant as one would have thought based on the high praise. Offense - lack of speed was the big issue to me this yr. Watching Oklahoma was eye opening in how much faster they looked than us.

Honestly good for him. I think these guys are getting pushed so had rto hurry up to get to the League they cannot enjoy themselves. Being an adult sucks ? so enjoy your youth as long as u can.

Earlier in the fall we were firing our coach and there was a lot of negativity and uncertainty surrounding our program. It is hard to get traction with the top guys with all that. We ended strong and the positive momentum showed in recruiting. If we can continue into next year we will start recruiting like we can on a consistent basis.

I am a big Russell fan and believe he will stick in the pros. Russell is a solid player but not an AA that can just take over a game. That is what I was alluding too.

I get what he is saying. IMO, We need a Derrick Brown or Monty Adams type (top end) recruit every other year, and a D Russell (solid) every year on the interior. We do ok with the Russell but need a Brown. In regards to Holland TD and Big Kat are above where Holland was n his first two yrs

Stat, thanks for report this year. I believe early yesterday we saw a team that had confidence as well as some good luck. As the game went on and momentum turned, the emotional drain and physical wear and tear from last week just overtook us. Gus needs to really take the next step in getting the quality depth and mental preparation needed. This year was a great experience and hope we can continue this momentum into next year. War Eagle!

Stat, our 1st TD Drive was a 94 yd scoring Drive. Nobody in their right might would have expected that. Then, at the 6 min mark, before Kerryon went out, we were running the ball to get AL to use their TO’s. But make no mistake we were about to run it down there throat. Been a long time since I have seen us be so physical.

I do like that we are putting the ball in the air in the 1st half as it is making us more balanced and keeping the opponent D honest. We have to do it this week to stop any pass rush and give us timetable hit the open receivers.

Stat, is would be interesting to see if the difference in the D is related to Tre Williams injury or competition? We need our LB’s to raise their game this week. GA’s run game will test our D-line/LB’s and it opens up easy throws for their QB.

Sam, I agree but if u are getting 6 yds/carry it s ok to punish their D. The problem at LSU was our center went out as well as another lineman and we could not execute.

I am concerned about the lack of intermediate passes. We have to work on this.

Going on the road against a pretty talented team. This is a big one for Gus to determine if he can keep momentum.
