  1. Well Stat, maybe they are listening to you on first down passes. To continue O improvement we need more explosive run plays, Pettway seems not as quick this yr, and some deep balls.
  2. Thanks Stat. A couple points and a q 1) We have history that tells us JS can be effective under a different scheme so that tells me we should not be this inept. I did decide that JS just needs to sling and see if our future NFL receivers could make a play on the ball. 2) make no mistake, we have 2 future NFL receivers, a NFL RB, and NFL caliber arm at the QB position so this is embarrassing. 3). What is Gus's offense identity? Isn't play action different than zone read?
  3. Thanks Stat. I agree with you 1000% on Kam Martin. He has a gear and elusiveness that KJ doesn't. I feel a couple of those 2 yards up the middle would have been different if he played earlier. I get KJ tho, as you have to block to protect the QB plus I am concerned with Kam's size.
  4. Similar to Pat Nix and DCraig. Let's get these guys and see how it will play out
  5. Awesome stat! It was incredible watching them throw the ball. It is funny you talking about it being vanilla and it was more open than I can remember.
  6. I read on 247, free info, that coaches put more emphasis on Big Cat than A-Day so it is not as big a deal as we think. If it was the same day as Bama and they decided to go to their game it would be a big deal.
  7. I can say Unequivocally that Bo does not compare to QB from cartersville that is signing with Clemson next yr. if he wants to be a back up then go there, otherwise he will never see the field.
  8. Let's hope they continue to stink and the shine will wear off a little
  9. as long as chip is successful and integrates the pass into this offense our offensive recruiting will be great.
  10. Am I the only one that thinks AUjeff most likely looks like Danny devito
  11. That is why getting someone like Solomon this yr is so important, imo. I am hoping Kodi goes to a Del Carnegie class for recruiting skills. I've not met him personally but heard great things, only hope he can start relating better.
  12. This is a perfect QB recruit to me this year now that we have JS and SW. He is not expected to play for two years which gives him the chance to grow and learn the position and he will either push Woody to get better or get out. if we hold onto Gatewood and he is the player we all hope it will set up just nice!
  13. So even more impressive if we get a couple high end guys?
  14. My only hope is that Garner closes strong as he has many times in the past.
  15. I cannot handle another month of his recruitment. Hair will start falling out.
  16. There was rumor he never would "officially" visit so this is good
  17. The OL class is very solid and was solid before the injuries.
  18. We keep doing this and look where it has us... with a bunch of plan B's. I want a plan A. No offense to our current guys just saying.
  19. I was so frustrated we threw 4 or 5 times consecutively on third and short when t was obvious our QB was hurting. I know a couple should have been converted but in one instance when the ball hit the receiver in the shoulder pad, I think he (as was I) thought it was about to be another pick 6.
  20. Stat, always enjoy this thread. Two keys are 1st down rush attempts and back-up plan. This time of yr everyone has our tendencies so we have some wrinkles. I understand with Sean being hurt we were hoping to just pound the ball and pull out a W but when cox and truitt got banged up we had no plan. We were able to over power teams the last 5 weeks with pettway but cannot do that to Uga with our injuries or to Alabama at full health so we need to be better prepared.
  21. Those have been against Some of the worst Georgia teams in history
  22. i'm sure it has been discussed but is stidam trying to arrive in Jan?
