I remember someone asking Mark Richt who was the best HS player he ever saw and his answer was Caddy. Seeing in in HS in person was so fun, he was just a wrecking machine. There is no doubt he and Ronnie pushed each other.

That center we recruited last yr, Trey Hill is what I am referencing as he has a body type ready to go. He just needs more maturing. Trey Would have been our starter day 1 did u see their RFr right tackle last night, my goodness

From day 1 he focused on the line, particularly O-line and getting the correct ones. UGA always had talent,especially skill positions, but they have never had O lineman like they do now. This is similar to Bama, the reason they could win with game managers as QB.

We better hurry - if u saw that red team last night they have some really incredible youth on that line, size I have never seen before. KS saw Richts downfall and he is bringing the guys in. Hate to say but Clay Webb won’t see the field for 3 years.

I don’t believe you have to get all 5/4 star and we cannot anyway.... but get a lot of 3 star w/ potential and make them push each other. The ones that don’t make it will eventually leave and you can keep the pressure on everyone to excel. The lineman in NFL are not all 5 star Plus we get the occasional top end and that works out just fine.

18-20 seems about right but our problem is we have less that 10 that are SEC caliber and none or maybe only 1 of those 10 are All-SEC players. Need guys to push each other. Think about Bama class they just pulled All have starting potential and all will push the 2nd team next year. Their 2nd team has the starting potential so they are pushing the starters for PT right now Competition breeds excellence

Thanks Stat, I do not think this is a dumpster fire like Chiziks las year. However, we want to compete against Bama, Ga, LSU and Clemson CGM needs to realize we are not going to outscheme these guys. We have to have the players in the trenches and you have to have a run game. CGM has overestimated his ability to win based on his scheme. He needs to either up his game or move on.

We cannot just outscheme these teams. Coaches are too good and have evolved. We have to recruit with a focus. To compete against Bama, UGA, Clemson, LSU, Fla we need to have a top 10 class that meets needs. Our lack of RB and OL the last few years is unacceptable and I think we will see the same on the DL next yr or the year after.

We do not have to be 1-3. But you have to recruit with a focus. Not having an O-Line or RB is a Malzahn issue. You have to have the Joes to compete as a top 10 team and occasionally that top 10 ten will be a top 5 team.

Exciting finish but after 53 mins of the worst football I have ever seen i was over it. I am proud of the guys not quitting as they did the last year of Chizik but it felt like the d was not putting in the effort the way A&M was controlling us. I applaud the coaches for inserting the true freshman if the older guys are not getting it done. C Miller looked good. Just need o-line and RB.

Stat; hopefully if we can get the receivers in space this can change quickly. Another huge issue is our lack of ability to force turnovers these last three games. If we can get consistent pressure maybe this will change.

Thanks Stat. How are we rebuilding after year 6..... Does CGM have an identity, is he a detailed driven coach committed to his identity? He CGM committed to excellence and holding his coaches accountable? i think not or how can one explain we are a running program with a piss poor o-line and 2nd tier RB?

I am not for laying this all on JS’s feet. He has to reform, no doubt and this is his 4th year but.... Our QB coaching and early play calling has left a lot to be desired. JS hit these passes last year, I just don’t believe he is as prepared.
