Yeah, but he sure was shading his eyes when the tv camera was tracking him on the sidelines, like he was making sure everyone knew he was battling the sun on that throw...🤣
Yeah he did, lol.

Yep, and I know it’s 50/50 hindsight ($1 to PFD), but when you’re that close to your own endzone, you have to attack a shallow flat throw if for nothing other than cutting off the defenders angle to the ball.
Receiving 101.
Yes that was a lot of it. The other part was Thorne looking right into the sun and the Vandy CB was in the shadows wearing a black jersey. I just watched the CHF presser from today and it verified what I had thought happened. When Thorne was coming off the field he made no excuses about the sun or anything else and told CHF, "Coach, I didn't even see him." Freeze said he told him, "don't throw blind" and they moved on.

I'm a fan of Fairweather but we have to be honest. With the drops, missed blocks, holding on offense, holding on special teams, most negating big gains, it's not possible for a TE to have a worse game. He probably agrees with that too, so hopefully it's just an anomaly.

Vandy SEC rankings- #14 rush defense, #13 pass defense
Auburn 41
Vandy 20
-
* a win, of course
* PT with 300 yds passing
* JH with 150 yds rushing
* defense keeping a lid on their 2 good WRs, Sheppard (40 rec) & McGowan(31 rec)

STOP with the QB rotation like this.
-
THAT was not a PI on the back shoulder by the MSU DB but the same play WAS on the Auburn WR ?
BULLCRAP !!!!!!!

Even though we got that bs OPI call, look at the difference in the way the WR went after the back shoulder catch. He also ran a good route leaving himself some space on the sideline. It was a great play on the execution and good to see.
-
Our WRs are REALLY going after the ball this game. It's like night and day.

That's some hard running right there by JH.
-
Thorne 8 of 9, 120 yards, 2 TDs, still in the first quarter.

While people can be unhappy with the 2 QB thing, the plays called or this or that, most people predicted a 7-6 or 6-6 season. Well this is what a 6 or 7 win team looks like.

LOL, next year.

Why does anybody wonder why we are running more in this game than passing ? We're #4 in the SEC in rushing and 14th in passing. We don't have any kind of consistent passing game, for a number of reasons, so we have to run it.

Asante with the sack. Nice

Crane's tactics and demeanor totally diminish his self anointed expert status. A real expert doesn't need to engage in constant name calling, interruption or deflection by asking questions instead of addressing his opponent's statements. That is a clear sign of insecurity. On the other hand, Charlie5 acted like an adult even though he was continuously interrupted when making his statements. Charlie5 wins on this. Crane acted like an asshat all the way through and loses.
-
I think the WR partially slipped too but the pass was there.
-
GREAT secondary play to end that drive. FANTASTIC
-
All that from the field position on that KO return which gave them some MO. DL is still playing tough though and some nice blitz calls on our part too..
-
That was SO close to a sack and they get the bobble catch.
