You are 100% right. Alabama paid Saban so much in the beginning, that no one wanted to try to steal him. If my memory is right. Let the contract guys work on it. If he did leave, maybe he leaves us with some five and four stars for the next guy.

Good point, but, can be fixed. Write up the contract to slow down the ability of this happening. If Auburn is great as we think, then he will become a Tiger at heart. Dye was not an Auburn man when he was hired and Saban was not an Alabama boy.

I understand and concur. But, the day before they were hired? What was it? Saban was a known high value BRAND! GC, GM, and BH were off label brands. Quit making the same mistakes. Follow the recipe! Buy the brand! Or, we will be here in two to three years again. Because we need talent A.S.A.P!!! We are way behind in talent, and, the next coach needs to be able to bring instant relief in this area. These names being floated around, will not be an easy sell for top talented teenagers. Get the guy that is national know, and, will bring EXTRA, NEW NIL money to the program.

Let me ask a question. What is the does GC, GM, and BH have in common? -(maybe could add TT)- What is the different thing Saban had over them when he was hired? HINT: Why did Alabama break the bank for Saban?

This guy is approved by a $6 billion dollar company. Obviously, those commercials tested out well, or they would not made several of them. And it is clear SABAN did not mind connecting his brand with him. High school players would swarm to play for him at Auburn. He already out recruited us for a few top players at that small, small school. Reread that last sentence, and let it sink in.
