And I don’t believe we should be giving him 3 years to get the culture right, I think you start that day one and not “hope for the best” 3 years later. Correct , it would be best to not factor freshman into improving a team until they have atleast a year of experience. JUCOs that come in could help sooner if they get here early.

Been listening to old Gus interview so I can hear what a real team leader sounds like. Hugh acts like wining isn’t a priority, if it weren’t for recruiting he’d be getting an easy “F” for the poor job he’s done.

Ridiculous…Sounds like we need a new leader of the program. Gus couldn’t recruit OL and ran a high school offense but dang it I don’t recall such deflated performance out of his teams. We’ve had some of our most embarrassing losses in our history occur just this year. This guy is passé about winning. I get him allocating more time to recruiting but he has completely put this team and season on the back burner and heck I’m fine with that. But I’m not fine with the statement it makes to the core and culture of our program moving forward. If it okay to not care this year then it’s okay for the team to not care next year and the next, right?

PM can’t really be that bad, and Hugh won’t take the blame he puts it all on PM. Hugh only calls the good plays that work smh.

He really seemed to not care about winning certain games. Can you imagine if the team find that thinking acceptable? U going to have a bunch more New Mexico St and Maryland type games. It’s hard to get that out of the locker room culture… well it seems the the head coach is the one with that mentality …WTF. He literally had “truth meetings “ were he would tell the team they basically weren’t good enough to win.

Hugh freeze needs to check himself. Any game played is a must win and him having to tell his team he wants to win a game is mind blowing. Why would you have to tell them, weak mentality and program will result from that thinking/position. His twin brother Gus had more of an edge and competitive spirit then this guy, and Gus would throw curse words like “dern” out there when he was fired up.
