  1. We should all remember that UGA loses 26 seniors this year. 26. Both of their stud RBs...gone. I know Swift looks good, but they'll be playing really young next season. That's how I'm trying to look at it to take some of the sting away from their monstrous recruiting cycle this year....lol.
  2. Actually...the statement was "their defense beat the crap out of us". Which....They did...convincingly. The only thing keeping it from possibly being 30-6 was our DEFENSE. The original comment was about our OFFENSE starting out strong vs the past 2-3 years of poor starts.
  3. Good for him....Hopefully he's matured enough to put in the work to equal his talent. WDE
  4. Kid looks a little Junior Rosegreen-esque with them licks he lays on guys...lol.
  5. It's like this every recruiting season. Lol. I wished we had landed a couple more of the big boys and kept them away from rivals, but this is a pretty solid class. I'm really hoping we land Luke Ford, I've been dying to see a viable threat at the TE spot.
  6. He did great keeping the team focused through those games. SECCG it didn't go how we wanted. I get the boys were beat down, but we completely abandoned the run because we had no backup plan.
  7. Things are on the upswing guys. They're all saying Auburn University!...lol
  8. If he turns out to be what a lot of us think he will......well......let's just enjoy him while we have him. WDE
  9. But he's coached at Auburn for 6 years. Is there a bye missing?
  10. Looks like a nicely balanced attack, with an above average D. Keep growing boys...the wins will too.
  11. I thought he threw a couple short dumps in those games as well. Either way, Stats correct. It's disappointing they're not allowing him to throw more. Maybe the fact we were up so much when he came in? He still needs the reps, we may need that element from him down the stretch.
  12. To my knowledge they've always shared duties aside from a game or two, but who truly knows. As others have said, I think it's a sink or swim deal for Rhett, and next year there will be a new OC. I'd like them to salvage the season and make something of it, but at this point if K Briles is willing to come here then that would be my choice moving forward.
  13. It's also carried over to the fans as well. Lots of people think you can only be successful with a DT like Cam or Nick. It's embedded into their psyche. It's easy to spot reading the comments in here. I think he's being stubborn on the ZR because he don't want to scare away DT QBs due to him changing his system. Despite the fact that any offense would benefit from that element. DeShawn Watson...Lamar Jackson, both DT QBs, yet they sling the ball all over the field. I might even venture out on a limb and say that we missed out on Watson because all Gus wants to do is run the ball and selectively pass. Clemson slings the ball all over to their WRs.
  14. My sentiments throughout this entire forum exactly. Thanks for the analysis Stat.
  15. There were an enormous amount of missed tackles. Tray and Stephen had horrible games, but they weren't alone in the tackling department.
  16. I re-watched the A&M vs UCLA game last night. He's a playmaker sure, but gets in very erratic slumps. I think Rudy makes him pay once or twice this weekend. He's due for a breakout play.
  17. The difference I see with that comparison is Knight is a little antsy. He will force things in there that I don't think Watson ever did. He takes a lot of risks in his throws at times. That'll cost him eventually. I'm hoping its this weekend. WDE
  18. Gus problem is he thinks he needs total control over every single facet. He thinks he's still coaching a bunch of high school freshmen and sophomores out there. He needs to let go a little and let his playmakers make plays. SW does a great job on hot reads and quick slants. Priority is moving the ball, whether it's a 50 yd bomb or 4-5 yds at a time. Eventually those 5-10 dink passes will open that big PA bomb. He puts his QBs in terrible positions with consistently giving them 3rd and 8+. That is bull****. We have a whole lineup of possession type recievers I can't understand why he doesn't utilize the short and intermediate middle of the field. It gives me a headache.
