  1. I specified recent cause I don't really know too many before this decade lol...for recently #1 is probably Trovon Reed with #2 being Duke
  2. Stevens might be in the top 4 of disappointments recently at the receiver position for us More likely that some freshman becomes better and takes his spot than him getting better and taking Slayton's
  3. If Jamal pulls some miracle and comes back as depth by late season, that'd be fantastic
  4. The problem is most of those higher scoring games that featured Sean, he usually had the same amount or more picks than touchdowns.
  5. Based on late last season and practice reports, he's definitely the safest with the ball. I don't think that's really arguable
  6. The way Gus does things from an outward times rarely seems to make sense, we just have to hope they either succeed or they don't (they usually dont)
  7. Receivers: Davis, Stove, Stevens. That's 3 right there that can start LB: Atkinson, Neal, McMillian DB: got a bit more shaky w/o Dean but we have 4 DBs with Carlton, Holsey, Matthews, and Ford. Javarius Davis seems to be making strides... Seems alright to me
  8. Sounds like everybody top to bottom is prepared except the QB. We've won an incredible amount with a QB named later than this.
  9. That's you. If he gets five wins, he's gone period. There is not a foreseeable way in the darkest part of this universe that we keep a guy that has 3 years of sub 4 wins in this conference. Especially a five win season. Goodness
  10. I refuse to concede that an Auburn team with one of the most expensive staffs period, coming off of several top 10 classes, is at MAX a 7 win season. That's just disgusting and disheartening to hear.
  11. I don't know what that stat has to do with anything. All those teams in that area are horrible (I looked it up). I don't think we lost to a team even close to that average. If we can go from giving up 26.5 to 19 that'd be pretty incredible, but scoring should remain somewhere in the 30s period
  12. I don't think scoring 19 points has been good enough for an Auburn team any point this decade I might be wrong on that though
  13. Sir, that is how you construed his comment. What he said was that Jeremy could go, but he wanted to see what those two could do. There's two different ways to view that statement.
  14. As soon as you deliver me a source I'll trust you If you can't, I can just as easily say that he didn't because its already over.
  15. At this point I don't see how Jeremy doesn't start. Sean's throwing consistency...isn't there to say the least, he's small, and can't run. JF3's about the same size and can't pass. Jeremy's pretty much what we got here.
  16. He did seem to abandon that trend after coming back. I don't think Sean ever shed the Farve-esque label that some attached to him. If you gotta take the forced game changing balls of Sean vs convincing Jeremy to make the right pass more consistently, in Gus's mind, it would have to be a no brainer, eh?
  17. What did Sean do in any of those games outside of Arkansas to make them noteworthy?
  18. Eh they both didn't do anything substantial, I'm glad it's been whittled to 3. It would've been a real problem if Barrett was contending.
  19. I actually was thinking about this at work. I thought it out pretty well. Sean comes in at QB, JF3 moves to HB, with Jeremy out wide. Play action fake to JF3, Sean pitches it backwards to Jeremy. All this time, JF3 runs a go route and puts that 4.2 to use. Toss it up to him and allow him to make it happen.
  20. I'd like to hear about some of our receivers last year as well. We signed a couple good guys back then, hope they dont get lost behind the stars we got this year. I still could see Kyle Davis vying for starting time whenever he does come back.
  21. Man I hear Auburn for the first time on CFB live and its something about Jovon Robinson it sucks being irrelevant
