  1. Wow, A&M is terrible. ..and this is coming from an Auburn fan!
  2. I think someone's been thinking about Lane too much!
  3. We've only had one coach in the past 40 years who hasn't played for or been awarded a national championship by major NCAA-designated selectors.
  4. This makes the most sense to me, even though my first preference is Deion. The fact is we just swung and missed on a coach without P5 experience in Harsin. It is understandable for those putting up the money to go for a coach who has a track record of success in the SEC.
  5. Come on now, anyone who was paying attention during his last couple of years knows that the transition from a Malzahn offense to a Gus offense is anything but smooth... ...I kid.
  6. In the words of Oscar Wilde, there is only one thing worse than being talked about and that is not being talked about.
  7. Because religious affiliation has no correlation with morals or ethics.
  8. No kidding. Has turned out to be one of the wilder games I can remember.
  9. I agree though it's very tempting to go with a guaranteed 6 more points lol.
  10. 24-6 at the half. Do you take a guaranteed 48-12 final score or an unknown outcome?
  11. Lol, oh yeah. Then I'm pleasantly surprised by this outcome!
  12. At Ole Miss, Hugh was a recruiting machine. In person, over the phone, whatever. He never stopped looking for the next prospect. He was a talent evaluator bar none. He could take a 3-star most wouldn't give a second look and get a 5-star performance out of them. And that's just the hookers. He also beat Saban twice!
  13. How many recruits have actually said this? I know one tweeted about it. Have there been more? I don't follow Twitter closely enough to keep up.
  14. Deion once played an NFL game and an MLB game in the same day. He knows what commitment is. Whether he is looking for that type of commitment at this moment is the question.
  15. Interesting thought experiment. The flip side is we go with Deion over Lane, and then Ole Miss owns us for the next decade. Either scenario could happen.
  16. Very interesting about colleges being literal 'poster children' for oligarchies, lol. I had never thought about it that way. In fact, I recall Noam Chomsky saying that a collegiate academic department is the closest thing to (pro-social) anarchy in the modern world. Talk about a different viewpoint!
