i actually think that we will win the big show before long.....we would have won it this if not for the corruption coming out in the dregs in striped shirts.....officials should be given lie detector exams on a monthly basis....i wonder how many would pass?......

I bought a 24/7 subscription and its hard to not be exited about what may be in the works. Hooks appears justified with his uber exuberance about recruiting. I'll honor the code about no premium content repeated, but I'ma gonna' have a broken heart if we don't have a top 5 class before its all over. Rankings on stars are subjective and not a guaranteed value system, but I'd sure like to see what BP could do with a group of 5"s. This like plowing a new ground for AU basketball

i watched the game and started drooling watching this guy run the ball...eric dickerson is what jumped into my mind.....i like the big backs with speed and this guy fits that....i know the NFL money is at LB, but damn this guy could be an AA runningback....lol, that was not a block, it was a damn assault

I just had a nice surprise. My granddaughter brought her boyfriend down to meet us(you know what that means) and he is a high school basketball coach in oklahoma. He also played college basketball(D-2 utcc) and was a grad assistant at UALR while Wea was there. He loves Wes and had a lot of good things to say about him, and one was that Wes was going to be our ace recruiter due to his ability to bond with people. I asked him about his son and he told me that he saw him play a few times but that he was just "okay", not bad-not great. I said "role player" and he said that he would be a good fit for that. He said that he had the physical tools to be good but would probably take a couple of years. He loves BP and my granddaughter and him attended the AU/UNC game this year, compliments of his connection to Wes. I hope she marries this guy. We talked basketball the whole time he was here!

I do like the increase in size and LENGTH.....Those long arms make it difficult to get off a shot in the lane and pass the ball in tight places....I'll be honest though, I am still concerned about the PG position this season

i mean, hellfire, we HAVE to recruit him, right?.....with all of his awards and accolades, why are not more SEC schools hot and heavy after him?....has he not been considered the best player in the state of alabama?....i would think we would be hearing more about him

it is crazy to see this type of talent showing up at AU for visits!!!....i am going to fall for Hooks45's exuberant homerism and get real excited about that "maybe" very special class....one thing though, sometimes when you get a whole big bunch of talent on one team, maybe chemistry is not so good with only one ball used in a game.....cole,with his "all about scoring" comment makes me wonder if he knows something about the kid that we don't know......this is why i worry about horace not being there....i will miss that guy so much...always 100% effort to help the team and set an example with his unselfish attitude

i am already looking forward to basketball while trying to avoid any thoughts of the other sport....this recruiting excitement makes me think that basketball should be priortized for the immediate future with spending and emphasis increased.....30 wins in basketball is a helluva' lot more fun (and stressful) than 7 wins in football

i just read a rundown from another forum concerning mark sears....the guy was at the tourney in indianapolis and in his opinion, sears is the best player that alabama has to offer...he said that sears went up against the "elites" and represented himself very well....the guy who wrote this is a serious basketball guy, and he is very high on sears....so, maybe we need to listen to cole about him

he doesn't speak out a lot but when hooks speaks, one should listen.....he is a bigtime basketball booster, goes to practice,travels with the team and tight with BP.....he has been a bit over enthusiatic at times, but does hold his finger on the pulse of AU basketball.....i think he may be a little too excited about this upcoming recruiting class being #1 in the nation, but by him saying that you can bet it will be very good

stephen hooks has some interesting things to say about the next recruiting class...i think he is being a bit optimistic, but he is really connected to bruce....he has said that we should not be surprised to see us finish #1 in recruiting and was very confident about it and that kessler was far from a uga lock,far from it.....you can go to the scout board and read what he says and after i read it, it made getting robbed a tiny bit easier to accept,although i never will completely accept it
