I don't personally see it happening. We are currently in 3rd behind Texas and USC. Stranger things have happened! I know they flew out of Cali this morning so we at least know for sure he will be there. OL recruiting could use the boost.

Cleaned up a little bit and I'll update throughout the weekend. Some thoughts: 4* WR Malcolm Simmons finally has the green light to commit. He is one of the kids I feel should be on this weekend's bingo card for a possible commitment. 247 and ESPN have him as a high three-star; Simmons is incredibly athletic but a project. 4* DL TJ Lindsey is gaining momentum toward Auburn. We are still likely behind Texas but that's before BCW. I like Auburn's chances here. Don't think he pops off this weekend because he still plans on releasing a top 5. 5* KJ Bolden might be one of the most important visitors. Auburn is behind three other programs but I don't think the margin is large. It's my guess that we can take the lead after this weekend. It's bold but I think we flip 5* WR Perry Thompson this weekend... maybe he wants to have an announcement ceremony instead but it could be a silent deal. 3* Reese Baker is likely committing this weekend. If Auburn is ready to take Duke Watson as RB2 it might be a surprise flip this weekend. If Auburn is ready to take Bradley Shaw it could happen quick.

It is believed that he is an Auburn lock if he has a committable offer... I believe that he has the green light

4* DL Kamarion Franklin is visiting today. Major target and probably our highest rated DL left we could grab. We’re behind but we have the momentum.

Equally important to Riddick, he’s my favorite DL left on the board

It’s an interesting trend that the kids who “play” us the most end up having character/criminal issues.

Took the buidne$$ to turd town and ended up being a domestic abuser. We won in the long term not having him. Most of this is whatever it’s just kids picking school but some handle the process with zero class.

Not a lot of kids flip twice.

Big update, sorry I have been MIA Some thoughts by position: QB: We're done here. Don't be discouraged by Walker White falling down the rankings. He had some situations where he couldn't attend important camps/events that the rankers hold highly. In my humble opinion, he is easily a top 10 QB in this class if not top 5. We beat Clemson to get him FWIW. RB: "Phat" Burnett is an okay RB in this class but the staff definitely wants a second guy. Kevin Riley is all Miami at this point and I don't like our odds of pulling a California RB. Durham is on the downswing for us. If we want Watson I think he is ours for the taking... we'll know pretty soon after BCW what Auburn's intentions are with Watson. WR: This could be the next Alabama troll job but I honestly believe we land Perry Thompson; his choice to come to BCW over their BBQ is great. Malcolm Simmons is ours if he is a take and we'll know soon after BCW. Craver is a backup plan I think we can land whenever. Cam Coleman asked for more money than anyone in our area believed he was worth; TAMU was willing to overpay. TE: No telling what the plan is here. Collins is okay but we don't seem to be in it for anyone else right now. Might need to prove we'll use the position. Saleapaga is coming to BCW so maybe we gain some momentum. IOL: Jameson Riggs and DeAndre Carter are the two we're hoping to land. If we miss on those two after not landing Poe and Taumua we will have to reset the board. If Riggs attends BCW I think he is a lock to AU but if he doesn't we've likely passed. Carter will be at BCW. OT: I think we're safe with Baker and his visit to BCW will help. No real momentum with Malamala so we'll need to shuffle the board to find our next OT targets. DL: I think Blocton is better than his ranking. We have a lot of momentum for Nicolas and Lindsey which would fill up our spots for this class. Kamarion Franklin takes priority but it's a tough battle. Jack: we love Phillips and we're done. LB: Barber is okay, Simmons is trending and alright. Demarcus Riddick is the big door prize we want badly. Shaw is the backup plan for Riddick. CB: we needed 3 and I believe we will finish with three 4* players. Can't ask for much else. S/NB: Lane and Faustin are solid. Bolden would be a statement win. I think Patterson is ours if we push hard enough.

Not a big splash but definitely the type of in-state kid you need to win. Also, he plays 7-on-7 with Demarcus Riddick. War Eagle.
