  1. I think we played about as well as we could. As far as the number of ground ball outs hit by our offense, that Clemson pitcher threw mostly drop balls, most exceeding 70 mph. That's a hard row to hoe. Penta is something special and pitched a great game. Interesting that the difference in the game was that the pitcher for Clemson got a double and scored the run that won it.
  2. To quote an old axiom: "If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best." I have no problem with the tournament pairings. Will be some (more) great experience for this young team.
  3. With NIL and the transfer portal, recruiting is much less important than it once was. Since college football has come out of the closet snd admitted that it is a professional instead of an amateur sport, the only thing that matters is how much money the player is going to make.
  4. I think we were 0 for 8 with RISP in todays game.
  5. al.com ? Hope you are preparing for a better future.
  6. Glad to see that. Proud of these ladies for being respectful.
  7. He is a useful idiot for those who are actually in control.
  8. Only sport I watch anymore. Hard to say it, but I hope Bammer wins it. As AU1947 said, we need the money.
  9. I've been watching the tournament, even after AU lost the play in game. Some really good players in the SEC. Some really good coaches also. You expect great pitching at this level. The great teams now have some players in the line-up with tremendous power at the plate. If I was an opposing coach, I would walk Hemphill from the school whose name will not be spoken every time she stepped to the plate. Every time. She hit 2 homers last night that are probably orbiting the earth right now !
  10. Wish I could say that it was an interesting season, but it wasn't. I love the sport, and these girls deserve better. Hope Perry and the young lady from S.C. are alright.
  11. Which begins with whoever calls the plays....................
  12. Pro-style qb's do not do well in zone-read offenses. Stidham is not the problem - not developing the proper offensive scheme to maximize his abilities is the problem. No qb can perform without an OL. To paraphrase Gus Moron " We don't have a talent problem, we have a coaching problem."
