Lane will always leave a program in worse shape and bolt when it becomes evident that he's actually not a very good coach. He's worshipped in Ole Miss, and he can still lose up to 4/5 per year and become the most winning coach there ever. He's found his sweet spot.

Caddy has single-handedly made thisnseason fun for a lot of players and fans...and recruits. Obviously he won't get itnunless he wins out, but I'd sure as hell support the s*** out of him because he will never stop getting better at what he does.

Genuinely can't lose w/ Deion. What if he goes 3-9 two seasons in a row and gets canned? Then you have 2 years of 4/5 star recruits for the next coach. SO many other potential problems w/ Kiffin/Freeze etc. Do something Auburn hasn't done...let Deion be our Orange Jersey.

Moving a black man into an interim HC spot isn't proving color doesn't matter. It's the easiest way to say "look, we had a black head coach once". It's nice to see Caddy as HC, but until the actual signed HC is a black man, we aren't "proving" anything.

Deion is the only candidate that 99% of fans would be behind. Kiffin 50/50...he's a flake and a weirdo...I'm sure the fraternity crew would love it. After two bad coaches, they need to just give Deion the go...would be excited, and in no way can be worse than the last 2. Minimal risk other than $$$ Imagine Deion, Bo, and Chuck all laughing it up around Auburn together.
