Incorrect. NCAA lifted money requirements for the 5th year in 2021. 2022 they have to get back to their NCAA governed numbers.

Not bad playing a JUCO with sub-par mid level talent.... Auburn should have dealt them an old fashioned wood shed beating... we still can't hit!!!

Pitching needs work. Lowe was steady, Penta got rocked and only made a couple innings in SEC play. Yarborough threw 11 innings I believe and KK telegraphed her pitches using a different motion. This year should be better and that is a must for Auburn to win... OU and Texas are coming soon.....

Well if that other team from across the state will win the Championship... ALL of the SEC teams will get some money and Auburn sure needs it to replenish the coaches buyout account from this year and last.... 😆

So Packer lolly gags to first yesterday and now is starting? Well now that is coaching.... and an inconsistent message..... Remember he benched Packer earlier in the season for running through a stop he was giving her..... should have benched her now too!!

She has not been coached as an outfielder on how to catch the ball coming through it and make the throw on the run. Could have thrown the girl out at 3rd yesterday if she had run threw the catch like Rivera did. And that is coaching or a lack thereof...

True. But as a coach at third, first, and in the dugout you should be reminding players what is at stake. Yes they have played a lot of ball. And yes there is NOT any excuse to not leg it out to first... but there is also no excuse for the lack of coaching...

Agreed. She didn't hustle and appeared to give up going to first. But there is more than enough blame to go around and share...

While I agree somewhat you still have to manage the players, situation, and the game. She may have thought there were 2 outs... you never know but in something as important as that situation you do not take it for granted... You put the player in the situation so make dang sure they know the importance and what is at stake. Excuses have become monotonous. And we should have scored in the previous innings and it would not have come down to the 7th... plenty of opportunities prior to that...

You can blame Packer for not hustling but ultimately it comes down to coaching!!! Freshman or not call time and explain the importance of the situation...

Well most of these girls come from TOP travel ball organizations that play and compete at a very high level. Premier, ASA Nationals, Gold, etc. Traveling all over to face the best pitching. That is why you don't see college coaches recruiting at the high school games but at travel tournaments. But from what I hear from the masses at the games their practices consist of scrimmages and very little repetitions of fielding and front toss in hitting is not a way to address or improve on those skills. UCF has a very strong pitcher and we know what FSU has. Pulling for the girls but I feel it will be a quick exit for us. We will know this time tomorrow and I hope I am wrong.

Dean's record at Auburn..... here is JMU's record since CMD left.. 141-31 while CMD's record at AU is 109-76.. Currently JMU only has 1 loss with his recruits in what should be the senior class there.... Yes there is a big difference in quality of opponent which is understood... but coaching talent is coaching talent.... just saying someone is coaching up his recruits there at JMU.... his recruits at AU...not so much...

Cannot believe the state of North Carolina would not let Duke host due to the states Covid/pandemic protocols. Oh well looks like Athens, Georgia will get the tax revenue.... and oh my the bat saga continues....

Agreed we need a new hitting coach and probably more IMO ...as I believe our team's issues are deeper than that... 🤔 But has the assistant coaching slots not been a revolving door? Why? We cannot keep good assistants around to work with hitters and fielders.... Why?... No consistency when you are constantly learning a NEW style or way..... Kettlehut, Smith, Glassco, Rojas, etc and I believe he is completing year 4 of a 5 year contract. Should we not be winning more now and not less? The UT Chattanooga pitcher had a 5+ ERA. They beat us last week 1-0 and we had 2 hits. That was supposed to be the 600th win... But if you cannot hit, field, and score the ERA is irrelevant...

Look at the runs scored as well. We are dead last in every offensive category or next to last. We have 2 freshman, 1 sophomore, & 2 junior pitchers. Hitting has progressively gotten worse. Pitching with Swindle, Handley, and Yarborough has all been worse over time spent here. What will Lowe, Penta, & Dismukes look like next year providing they hang around...Dean had a phenom pitcher in a mid tier conference at JMU. And I am not arguing anything but our program is tanking. Maybe CMD needs to be a pitching coach only. I saw him call Packer to 3rd and stand there with his so called stop hand up... I also heard him hollering get here..yet he blamed her for getting hosed.... that was Cleary practuced a lot.... yes teams practice that and our hand was out played. It is not about dynamics but each coach has a role.. If you watch closely you will see that is not the case currently at Auburn... It is a one man show and is evident from the stands

Have you attended 1 game this year and seen the team for yourself in person? Pregame Bullpens, live hitting, player reactions, full game? I have and have watched both in person and on TV. I wouldn't trust anything I have not personally witnessed. We cannot hit, we make stupid errors on the bases and fundamentally we are the worst. And when we lose up until a week ago it was they, they, they.... now recently that terminology has changed to we. I urge you to attend a game if you have not and see for yourself. McConditchie is a better 2nd baseman that is more athletic and hit .400 plus last season.. Has not got a valid opportunity this season... This program is spiraling. Assistant coaches don't make decisions.. Senior hitters are worse than they were when the new regime took over. It is like a 1 man show from the 3 home tournament games and 2 home series I was able to watch in person and the TV games I have watched.... it is good to have your own opinion as that is what makes America great.
