Well I loved the post game interview and the credit Caddy gives Glory to God! And the stories of former teammates of his that were NOT left behind because of bad decisions. These are young men and while it is a large corporation these young men need role models and not a coach after money or that does not care about them.. 

JMO and I have been thoroughly impressed with HC Williams and in the words of one of our beloved broadcasters...

Losing to a JUCO is embarrassing when you are a Power 5 Conference team.

I have always been told and remind others that "there are always 2 sides to a story and the truth is somewhere in the middle" .... as well as "rumors are a precursor to the truth" and "perception is reality"

My honest opinion is that I would like to see more accountability and better class/sportsmanship from the athletes and those involved in our programs both on and off the field.

Auburn Football is the new hybrid.... Plays like Vandy and players that act like that school in Tuscalooser...

Well predictions are just that... game has to be played.. winner and end of season is what matters. I am more outraged by the tasteless post such as this one... shows a lack of leadership from the HC AND the AD

The at home schedule is critical and will definitely need to improve from Alabama State, Niagara, etc. I had rather see us play top notch competition and lose a close game to a FSU, Lafayette, etc. That is the best way to get better and learn how to win those close games. Of course.... I would also like to see CMD not run us out of innings by overly aggressive on the bases etc. A few times we had stupid aggressive base running errors etc. and then someone next up would hit a shot... if he was a little more patient... Hope we see more small ball as well.. slappers, etc.. JMO

Schmidt is actually going to WKU.. Western Kentucky is what I have seen on her page!!

Comment and opinion was more about the current Catchers. While Godwin is hitting about the same....  defensivley she is the best we got at the position. Arm, framing, etc... This team finished 10th in the SEC. Hope this young team grows up.... seems like they have been young since Myers left over 5 years ago...

Last year's juniors are now seniors. You have seniors. Can the other 2 throw out runners like GODWIN did... bats technically the same... defense goes to Godwin..

Look at the games in which they played... Godwin has proven herself against quality opponents. And she has a better arm than the others as shown...

Not bashing but stating the truth.... CMD has not kept or offered to keep any seniors for their 5th (covid) year until Godwin who defensively is solid and has hit better than both Blaine and Lisenby that are currently in the program. What stats prove that statement to be wrong?

Stating the obvious truth is NOT bashing.. why else would CMD keep a graduated senior? I mean he didn't keep Handley because of Lowe and Penta....

Either way, I am interested to see the roster once the season starts. 

Godwin is back. Goes to show Blaine and Lisenby cannot get it done...

Just goes to show the catchers that came in or coming in are NOT getting it done....

Yes, I was merely looking for complete games and innings, and the quality of opponents that she has faced...to see what her outings may have looked like... looks like it was a lot of 1 to 2 innings here and there...did notice she also had a few errors while pitching in those games.

I heard that the Cox kid has quit or is leaving as well. Not sure if that is true or not as I haven'tseen or heard of her in the portal... but if it's true we are needing a 3rd baseman... hope we have one coming in that can handle the corner/hot spot!!

I know this is old but..... I thought I remembered the Oklahoma State commit that played for the local team here. After looking at her freshman stats she has wins against Kent State and Northwestern and season high was 3 innings with 5 K's out of 32 innings.. And the other teams she didn’t fair well against were Kentucky, Maryland, Wisconsin, and UCF. Let's see how she does playing a FULL SEC schedule...
